Obituary: Frances, known as Geri for most of her life, was born in OKC on 17, 1923, and passed away in Edmond on Nov. 4, 2015. She was the first of five children of Frank G. and Matilda Martin. She raised five children on her own, and led us by example of hard work, love of God in Christ and respect for others. She was proud to obtain a degree in library science and English from Central State (UCO) and became the librarian at a private school in Asheville for a short time, then returned to OKC to work at Tinker for several years. Her life was changed in 1969 when her second son, Gaylord Martin Couch, died in Vietnam. She loved family, which grew over the years to five generations. Her parents, her brother, Frank Martin, Jr., sister, Crosby and son, Gaylord preceded her in death. She is survived by her sisters, Virginia Price of Houston, Alice Eagle of Rim Rock, Arizona, and her sister-in-law, Lynette Martin of Forest Park. Also surviving is her son, Patrick Dwight Couch and wife Barbara of Owasso, their children Chris and Angela and their families, Michael Elizabeth Robinson of Yukon and her daughter, Linda and her family, Marcia Fenity of Warr Acres and her children Mark, Rohn and Cory and their families, and Dean Couch and wife Jeannie of Arcadia and their children Matthew and Daniel. Obituary: Betty Lou (Loman) Couch, 88, passed away on 23, 2015. She was born on 11, 1927 in Drumright, OK to Ora Martin and Edna Florence (Schemenaur) Lee. She graduated from Luther High School in 1944 and in 1947, she married Alexander Loman. Together, Betty and Alexander had 4 children. were united in marriage until 1977, when he passed away. In 1986, she married Richard Couch and gained 3 more children. Betty retired from Tinker Air Force Base after 25 years. She enjoyed spending more time with family, flower gardening, and shopping. One of her favorite things to do with her family was play Rummy. She was an excellent cook and prepared family dinners every , after church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; 2 brothers, Max and Keith Lee; sister, Letecia Eldridge Sawyer; and grandson, Matthew Danker. Survivors include her children, Alexis and Owen Dean, Debra and David McEwen, Jeanne and Keith Moran, Holly Hale, Loretta and Perry Carrell, David and Maria Couch, and Allan Couch; 3 brothers, Earl, Gale, and Wayne Lee; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of loving family members and friends. Viewing will be held 26, 2015 with family visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m. followed by a rosary at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, Midwest City, OK. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held , 27, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Robert Catholic Church in Jones, OK, followed by interment at the cemetery in Luther, OK.
