Obituary: Donald Wayne Clark, 83, died peacefully at Integris Hospice House in Oklahoma City on , 20, 2010 following a stroke. He was born May 10, 1927 in Sulphur, Oklahoma, to Fred Irving and Anna Ione (Bovey) Clark. As a child he was saved and was a member of Exchange Avenue Baptist Church. He loved listening to Gaithers music. As a teenager he worked in an ice plant with his father. He was a truck driver and delivered blocks of ice from house to house when people only had ice boxes not refrigerators. Wayne served in the US Army during WWII in Germany and Austria. He then served as an Oklahoma City firefighter from 1949 to 1978 when he retired as a Captain. his retirement, Wayne continued to work for Monarch Marking and was self-employed until 1989. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. His grandson, Brandon, was his pride and joy. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wilfred and Wesley Clark; and sisters, Anna Collins and Millie Ramsey. Survivors include his wife, Aileene Clark; daughter, Debbye Welch and her husband, James; grandson, Brandon Welch; sister, Mary Renfro, and many nieces and nephews. His graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, , 23, 2010 at Sunny Lane in Del City, Oklahoma. under the direction of Sunny Lane , Del City, OK. |

Obituary: Denesha Ann Clark was born Dec 15, 1971 to Leroy Dement and Mary Ellen Windes in Oklahoma City, OK. 42 years of touching lives Denesha passed away on Dec 12, 2014, in Shawnee, OK. Denesha was what you would consider free spirited and had to experience things for herself. Because of this Denesha had so much life experience at such a young age and was able to mentor to youth who just needed a little guidance. She was so accepting, if you needed help she would let you in or be there in the drop of a dime. Denesha wasn't just a caregiver but the life of the party as well. Denesha was so fun to be around and always had a witty comment to share. She often said mind over matter, I don't mind and they don't matter, she used this saying as a way to remind her not to look into what others judge you as and to just love yourself. Denesha was a very strong and determined individual, and enjoyed adventure and trying new things. Denesha was so outgoing, but nothing could compare to the love she had for her family. Denesha loved her grandchildren to a fault, and found great pride in her children. Denesha's memory will never fade, it will live on through the legacy she created and through the lives she has touched. Denesha was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Dement ; and her brother, Rick Dement. Denesha is survived by two children: Brittney Kilhoffer, and Zach Van Dyke; 3 grandchildren: Chloe, Makayla, and Holley; her mother, Ellen Windes; one sister, Tammy Megehee; and many other family members and friends. A memorial service will be held in Denesha's honor at Sunny Lane of Del City on Dec 22, 2014 at 2:00pm. |

Obituary: David Palmer Clark May 19, 1941 - 19, 2016 David Palmer Clark, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, passed away on 19, 2016, after a courageous fight against cancer. David modestly described himself as a man who did the best he could do with each and every opportunity and challenge. As David would say: it is what it is. David was the second son born to Ralph Otis Clark, M.D. and Marie Alice Palmer Clark on May 19, 1941, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Southeast High School in 1959. He attended college until he enlisted in the Navy in 1963 and served until his discharge in 1969. Davids trade in the Navy was a storekeeper as a second class petty officer. He was tasked with maintaining the ships supply store. His military service was recognized in numerous awards including the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Secretary of the Navy Commendation for Achievement Medal, and a Good Conduct Medal. His experience in the Navy served him well for his future in accounting. Upon his discharge, he returned to the University of Oklahoma where he graduated in 1972. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1975 and was recognized for 40 years of membership in the Oklahoma Society of CPAs in 2015. Dave spent most of his working career with The Kempton . He was employed in 1982 and served as its Executive Vice President until his death. At work, Dave was a leader who led by example and challenged all to be the best they could be. He was a mentor to many. He was a loyal, dedicated and honest man who valued his ethics and principles. His dedication to the Kempton family will always be greatly appreciated. Dave made a significant impact on the many that know and love him at Kempton. He leaves a multitude of friends at Kempton who will miss him dearly. But above all, Dave was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. The joy he had at family gatherings in the past years was visible in the twinkle in his eyes when he spoke of his family. He is survived by his wife Karen Clark, son David T. Clark, and daughter Teresa A. Ellison, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Guy and Lynda Clark of Ponca City, and Fred and Genneva Clark of Oklahoma City. He also leaves five grandchildren: Samantha and Zachary Clark of State , PA; Rachel and husband James Fishburn of Stillwater, OK; Alexis and Chase Ellison of El Dorado, KS; and five great-grandchildren: Payton, Ruger and Noah Clark, and Connor and Cameron Fishburn. David was a very private person. He did not want anyone to hurt or grieve for him so he endured his illness on his own terms. He is reunited with the Lord, his parents, and an older brother, Ralph Otis Clark, Jr. The family would like to thank the Mercy Hospice nurses for the care and support provided during his final days. Visitation will be at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, OK 73116, on , 21, 2016, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held , 22, 2016, in the Chapel at All Souls' Episcopal Church, 6400 N.
