Obituary: LEANORA P. CHUDZINSKI Leanora Frances Peluso Chudzinski, 89, died , Sept 3rd. She was born 18, 1921, in Rome, New York, youngest of nine children and daughter of the late Gaetano and Agatha Richards Peluso. She graduated from Rome Free Academy High School and attended secretarial school. She was employed in civil service at Griffiss Air Force Base, Rome, N.Y. There she met and later married John James Chudzinski on 23, 1949, at St Marys Catholic Church. Leanora moved with her family to Midwest City, Oklahoma, after her husband was transferred to Tinker Air Force Base in 1964. were married 54 years. He preceded her in death in 2003. Mrs Chudzinski belonged to St. Philip Neri Catholic Church where she was a past member of the Altar Society and also volunteered as a tutor for students at the parish school. She was a great cook, a devoted stay-at-home-mom, and a caring friend. Leanora - beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and mother-in-law - will be greatly missed. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, JoAnne and Gary Wood of Lawton; a granddaughter and her husband, Stephanie and Will Dacus of Houston; and a grandson, Christopher Wood of Houston. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen and Josephine; and six brothers, James, John, Joseph, Victor, Sylveo, and Mario. Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. , 10, 2010 at St Philip Neri Catholic Church, Midwest City, Oklahoma with the Rev. Timothy Fuller, as Celebrant with burial to follow at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Richard Star (Knoxie) Chuculate the son of Joseph and Ira (Ballard) Chuculate, was born 6, 1959 in Tahlequah, OK. Richard was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on 10, 2015 at his home in Hulbert, OK with family by his side. Richard was 56 years old. Richard met the love of his life Patti in 1986. later married on 26, 1996. He was blessed with six children, Tiffani, Jennifer, Kimberly, Michelle, Angela, and Richard Jr. Richard loved to be outside taking care of the Chuculate farm. He was always laughing and cracking jokes. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grand babies. He loved his family dearly and loved the Lord with all his heart. Richard was a Deacon of New Hope Baptist Church where he attended for many years. Richard had two big accomplishments in the past year that he and his family was extremely proud of. One was earning his GED. Second was his last job working for Taylor's Painting and restoring the Cherokee Nation Courthouse. His laughter and smile will never be forgotten. Richard touched many lives and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother Kenneth Chuculate. Richard is survived by a loving family which includes his wife Patricia Chuculate of the home; five daughters Tiffani Potter and husband Donnie Potter of Ft. Smith AR, Jennifer McIntire of Tahlequah OK, Kimberly Chuculate of Anchorage AK, Michelle Garcia of Stilwell OK, Angela Chuculate of Hulbert OK and one son Richard Chuculate Jr and wife Megan Chuculate of Tahlequah OK. Three brothers Wiley Chuculate and wife Gwen of Wagoner OK, Joseph Chuculate Jr and wife Linda of Wagoner OK, Dewitt Chuculate of Hulbert OK and one sister Julia Ballard and husband Clyde of Rose OK. His legacy lives on through his five grandchildren; Cody Potter, Autumn Potter, Kiara Choate, Jasmine Garcia, Mateo Garcia and one great grandchild Christian Potter. Many nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives also survive him. Pallbearers for Richard include Derek Chuculate, Aaron Chuculate, Terry Patterson, Doug Weese, Clyde Ballard, and Mike Young. Family was very important to her and she cherished her grandkids greatly. She was always looking for a new adventure, to experience something different. One of the best adventures for her was the casino, trying her hand at winning big. She loved to travel, and did so as often as she could. Lorena had a huge heart, and was always helping everyone around her. Anyone that met her, knew they had a true friend. Lorena will be dearly missed by all her family, friends and loved ones. Those that finished the adventure of life before her include her parents Mose and Nadine Chuculate, a grandmother, Fannie Nofire, and two brothers, Clyde Chuculate and Clifford Chuculate. Those left to carry on the adventure include one daughter, Patricia Thomas of Green Bay, WI two sons, Joshua Thomas of Green Bay, WI and Coty Chuculate of Oneida, WI, three brothers, Darrell Chuculate of Muskogee, OK, William Chuculate of Muskogee, OK and Felix Chuculate of Locust Grove, OK. Obituary: Gary Mitchell Chubbuck passed away 11, 2016, in Oklahoma City. He was born on 3, 1948 in Manhattan, Kansas to Syble and John Chubbuck. In 1951, the family moved to Silver Spring, Maryland. In 1954, they welcomed Garys brother, Lyndon. Gary graduated from Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C. in 1966, where he held many track and field records. He attended Randolph Macon in Ashland, Virginia on a basketball scholarship, and graduated in 1970 with a degree in Mathematics. graduation, he worked in the space flight division of Computer Sciences Corporation in Silver Spring where he worked on programs that ran unmanned satellites. In 1972, Gary moved to Norman to attend law school at the University of Oklahoma. There he met Lester, a fellow law student; they married on 9, 1975. Gary practiced law for 38 years, specializing primarily in the defense of major product manufacturers in personal injury litigation. working for firms in Alexandria, Virginia and Chicago, Gary and returned to Oklahoma City in 1981. Gary joined the firm of Pierce Couch Hendrickson Baysinger & Green, where he became a partner. In 1992, Gary founded the firm of Chubbuck, Bullard and Hoehner. He was a partner in his own firm until his retirement in 2013, and took great joy in helping advance the careers of the younger attorneys who worked for him. In addition to Garys work as a products liability litigator, he provided pro bono representation to death row inmates during the appeals process. He served on the board of the Wesley Foundation at Langston University, where he helped institute a program designed to prepare students for entering the professional work force. He loved spending time with his grandson, Mitchell, and his dogs, Boomer and Herman. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Travis Mitchell Chubbuck. He is survived by his wife, Lester Chubbuck of Edmond; his brother, Lyndon Chubbuck and wife Ivana Chubbuck of Los Angeles, California; his son, John Chubbuck and wife Stacey Sheely Chubbuck of Oklahoma City; his grandson, Mitchell Chubbuck of Oklahoma City; and nieces Lauren Lester Allison of Bristow, Emily Lester Curzon of Tulsa, and Claire Chubbuck of Los Angeles, California. |
