Obituary: William Bill Christie, 82, passed from this world on Mar 14, 2016. He was a Halloween baby born in Warren, Pennsylvania on Oct 31, 1933. He graduated from Warren High School in 1951 and worked as a draftsman in Warren, PA. He was drafted into the US Army. He served 11 years which included a tour in Vietnam in 1967. On his return from Vietnam, he was honorably discharged and took a job as a civilian employee working for the US Army. He worked in the field of electronics at the Tobyhanna, PA Army Depot and later at the Sacramento, CA Army Depot, including a civilian tour in Korea from 1986-1988. In 2002, after his retirement, he moved to Oklahoma to be closer to family members. Bill married Luisa Armamento Beeson in of 2011 in Tecumseh, OK. had 5 wonderful years together. Their love for one another saved his life after the passing of his wife, Pat, of 50 years. He had many interests including rooting for the Pittsburg Pirates baseball and Steeler football teams, dancing with Luisa and driving his car. He is was preceded in death by his wife Joan Pat Christie, his sister Janet Meley of Warren, PA, and his parents Vincent and Charlotta Christie of Warren, PA. He is survived by his wife Luisa Christie of McLoud, his twin sons and their spouses Michael and Elsie Christie of Shawnee, and Mark and Yvonne Christie of Tobyhanna, PA; his grandchildren Kim and Jim Gillen of Palmerton, PA, Matthew Christie of Tobyhanna, PA and Alex Christie of Shawnee: his step daughter Marlyn and Michael Marriott of Tulsa, OK and Maricon McLaughlin of Oahu, Hawaii. He is also survived by his sister Claudia Jackson of Murphys, CA and many other family & friends from everywhere including Oklahoma, California, and Pennsylvania. Memorial service will be held 1:00 p.m., , 24, 2016 at Broadway United Methodist Church, 302 S. Broadway Tecumseh, Oklahoma 74873. |

He was a man with a large heart, willing to go the extra mile to help anyone who needed him. He was so proud of his nieces and nephews, Tehya, Aiyana, Charley, his stepdaughter Ciara, and his special granddaughter, Trinity. He enjoyed time spent with his loving companion, Laura. Andy went to his eternal home on 21, 2016 in Tahlequah, OK. He was 41 years old. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Andy has gone home to join his father, Charley, his grandmother Isabell Ricketts and his uncles. Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Kathy Knapp of Fort Gibson,OK, his brother Michael Christie and wife Jamie of Cookson, OK, and his companion Laura Champlin and her daughter, Ciara Champlin of Tahlequah, OK. He leaves his nieces, Tehya, Aiyana Christie and nephew Charley Christie all of Cookson, OK, a special granddaughter, Trinity Blackbird, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones and a host of friends. |

Obituary: Rose Marie Christian passed away peacefully 29 at her home with the family by her side. She was born 20, 1929 in Oklahoma City, the only daughter of Godfrey and Meta Grimmlinger. She went on a blind date and met Charles Houston Chris Christian, they were married in 1952 and celebrated a long wonderful life together. She was a member of Christ the King Parish and was very involved with Meals on Wheels. Rose Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Chris, in 2000, and her parents. She is survived by three children, Dan Christian, Susan Dixon and husband Tom, and Kathy Christian; and five grandchildren, Andrew, Adam, Sean, Ally and Sunny. The family would like to thank Lilly Griesen, Mercy Hospice and hospice nurse Dolores Hoogendoorn for their compassionate care. A rosary will be said at 10:30 a.m. , 2, 2015, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. |

Obituary: Lillian Olivia (Walthers) Christian joyfully entered Heaven's Gates into the arms of Jesus on 20, 2015!! Lil was the eighth of ten children born to Walter Traergott and Theora Mary (Kelly) Walthers on 14, 1921, Dallas, Texas. In her teen years, Lil, along with her sisters, worked her shift in the family owned Bakery, while her brothers were becoming bakers! Some evenings, with musical instruments in hand, they all gathered for a time of playing and singing. On s they would perform their renditions of old gospel hymns in the Four Square Church in the neighborhood. Lillian's strong spiritual foundation grounded her to become the faithful Godly Woman evidenced through her years of service as a spiritual nurturer, prayer warrior, devoted School teacher and soloist in the Church Choir of Metropolitan Baptist, where she is a Charter Member. Teaching Christian values and principles to her children, Lillian lived by example! She was a devoted, Beloved Mother and a Role Model to many. Lillian earned a degree from Blair Business which gained her a position with GM Auto Corp for over 30 years. Lil was a sports lover; Golf being her personal choice! For much of her adult years she was active in Women's Leagues at both Lincoln and Hefner Golf Courses. Lil was an artist specializing is Beautiful China Painting! In her retirement years, Lil was a volunteer with the Public Library Literacy program. Listening to struggling young readers fit right in with her nurturing nature! Lillian was the last of an Era! Preceding her to Heaven are all her siblings, her parents, as well as her husband of 63 years, Waylan Taylor Christian, (whom she met at the Bakery in Dallas!) Survivors of Lillian: daughter, Lynn Christian Hefle (Joel) of Blanchard, OK; son, Jann Taylor Christian, of Trophy Club, TX; Five grandchildren: Janna Hefley Wade(Jay) of Edmond, OK; Lori Hefley Runnfeldt(Jeff) of Tiburon,CA; Jules Hefley Deer(Aaron) of Tiburon,CA; Taylor Colt Christian and Carlee Kathleen Christian of Trophy Club, TX; Five great grandchildren: Hunter Layne Hefley Wade and Zane Hardy Hefley Wade; Olivia Leigh Runnfeldt, Anna Lauren Runnfeldt and Alexandra Layne Runnfeldt. The "grands" affectionately call Lil, "Mawgy". Lillian was blessed often by, at least, a dozen thoughtful, caring nieces, nephews and cousins who have continued to show their love by calls, cards, and letters sent to "Auntie Lil" and some visits through the years! Thanks to the wonderful, sweet caregivers at The Spanish Cove Senior Retirement . Lil knew and felt your love. Thank you to Russel Murray Hospice for guidance in these recent months.
