Obituary: Orma Jane Charter, 92 year-old resident of Harrah, Oklahoma, passed away in Harrah, OK on 4, 2016 to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kells. Born 23, 1923 in Hollister, California she was a former longtime Midwest City, Oklahoma resident. Orma had worked at Tinker Air Force Base in Finance and was in charge of currency exchange at the time of her retirement. She was an avid reader and a lover of crossword and circle word puzzles. In her early years was a horse lover and had several horses over the years. She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 husbands; 2 sons, Charles and Keith; 1 daughter, Barbara; and 1 brother, Charles. Survivors include 1 son, Edward J. Cottet and his wife Marlene of New York; 1 son-in-law, James Averyt of Choctaw, Oklahoma; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, Bob Kells of New York: and a host of other relatives and friends. services were held at 2:00 p.m. , 7, 2016 at Arlington Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73141with burial following at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, Oklahoma. |
