Obituary: Donald Dennis Conner Sr., 83, passed away peacefully in his sleep on , 9, 2016 in Visalia, California. Born in Fresno, California on 6, 1933 to Jasper and Mildred Conner, Don was raised and educated in Fresno, attending Fresno City . Don served in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955, earning the National Defense Service Medal, Army Occupation Medal (Germany) and a Good Conduct Medal. Upon his return to the states, Don married Loretta Mae Pampeian of Visalia on 2, 1956. For more than 60 years Don and Loretta made Visalia their home. Don worked for Southern California Edison as a Poleman in the Tulare-Visalia area, retiring from Edison after more than 35 years, before then going to work for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers as a Business Representative and Negotiator for an additional 10 years. During his work career, Don tended to his familys small farm, raising cotton and walnuts for nearly 45 years. Don was an enthusiastic advocate for hunting, fishing, and public access to parks and forest spaces. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, as well as an active member of several organizations including the Visalia Sportsman Club, the California Wildlife Association, and the Sportsman Council of Central California; all organizations in which he served multiple terms as President. Don was a people person and enjoyed times spent with family and friends. Don was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Jacqueline Hayes. He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta; two children, Donald Conner, Jr. of Los Olivos, CA and Dionne Murch and husband Tony of Exeter, CA; his brother James Conner of San Jacinto, CA; one grandson TJ Murch and wife Stacey and one great granddaughter, Ashley Murch. Visitation will be held on , 15, 2016 from 3 - 7 p.m. at Miller Memorial Chapel, 1120 W. Goshen Avenue in Visalia. services will follow on , 16, 2016 at 10 a.m. also at Miller Memorial Chapel. Obituary: Claude Cullen Conner, 89, died of pneumonia on Pentecost , May 24, 2015 at 8:00am at Upland Rehabilitation and , 1221 East Arrow Highway, Upland, CA with his family at his side. He was born 24, 1925 in Redwood City, CA and lived in Rancho Cucamonga for thirty years. He worked as a microwave tube engineer at Hughes Aircraft in Fullerton, CA and Varian Associates in Palo Alto, CA for thirty-nine years and was a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Lion's Club. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he wrote Nothing Friendly in the Vicinity: My Patrols on the Submarine USS Guardfish during WWII, which is available at www.amazon.com. His hobbies included ham radio (license W6SXA), playing the saxophone, reading the IEEE magazine, enjoying the Astronomy Picture of the Day website (Google: apod), and writing about the interface between science and religion. His survivors include his wife, Lupe Conner; son, Greg Conner; daughters, Cathy Whitehead, Christine Hebert, and Shel Conner; six grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, John Conner, and his first wife, Mary Conner. Visitation will be held at Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Obituary: Christina Ann Weber-Conner, 3, 1975 - 15, 2012. Services were held at Martin Mortuary in Grand Junction CO, on Wed, 19, 2012 at 10:30 am with Pastor John Foreman officiating. Graveside services were held at Moses Hill at noon on , 22, 2012 with Pastor Craig Cedar officiating. Christi was born on 3, 1975 in Kearney NE to Tom and Nancy Weber of Holdrege NE, and went to her eternal rest on 15, 2012 in Grand Junction CO. While her death was unexpected, we thank our Lord for her peaceful passing in her sleep. She was the fifth child of six that the family was blessed with. She began her education in Wilcox NE, and finished at Central High, Grand Junction CO, graduating with the class of 1994. She loved caring for children. From 1995 until 2007, she helped her parents care for special-needs foster children. The children loved her. She also had a real knack for photography, crafts and quilt-making. She met the love of her life, David Conner Jr, in 2007 and on 20, 2007 they were married at the Jack Daniels distillery in Lynchburg TN, while the statue of Jack Daniels served as best man. Her dreams were fulfilled with the birth of her son, David Conner III, Tripp on 31, 2010. She was a wonderful wife and loving mother. and for that we are eternally grateful. During their marriage they lived in Wilcox NE, Campo CA, Southside AL, and had recently returned to their home in Campo. She was preceded in death by baby brother, Thomas, her maternal grandparents Roger D Johnson and Betty J Johnson Buettenback and paternal grandparents Owen and Peg Weber. Survivors include her husband and son, David Jr and David III, Campo CA; her parents, Tom and Nancy (Johnson) Weber of Grand Junction CO; three brothers: Tim (Misty) Weber of Elwood NE, Roger (Tina) Weber, Grand Junction CO, Cory (Kimberly) Weber of Grand Junction CO; one sister, Jordan Becca Weber of Grand Junction CO, nieces and nephews: Michael, Jonathan, Natasha, Amber and Tyrus; her in-laws, David Sr and Carmen Conner of Grand Junction CO and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. A memorial has been established in her memory with contributions going to St. Jude Childrens Hospital and PAWS With A Cause.
