Obituary: David Edward Clippinger, beloved husband of Joan Clippinger (nee Evans) for 23 years. Devoted father of Gwyne Falo, Carl (Jackie) Clippinger and Lance (Catherine) Clippinger. Cherished grandfather of Teshua, Deo, Yohana, Mark, Bryan, Jeffery, Amy, and Sarah. Dear brother of Ann Hawk and the late Carol Valentine. David is survived by nieces, nephews and a host of friends. David graduated from Withrow High School before going on to Miami University where he obtained a Bachelors degree. David also proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. David was known throughout the community for his real estate developing, managing the Mariemont office of West Shell. An avid tennis player, back packer, skier, shooter, and golfer. Other hobbies included finance and politics. David lived most of his life in Mariemont where he served on Council and did much work obtaining land for parks and green space. Departed on 3, 2015 at the age of 83. A memorial service will be held , 10th at 11:00 AM at Horizon Community Church, 3950 Newtown Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45244. Obituary: Wayne T. Clinton, 76, of Ironton, passed away , 11, 2014 at the Hospice in Ashland, Kentucky. The Lynn, MA native was born 29, 1938 a son of the late Walter E. and Olive Shaw Clinton. Wayne graduated from English High School in Lynn, MA. and earned an Associate Degree in Business Administration. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and worked for the U.S.Army Corps of Engineers as a Lock and Dam Equipment Mechanic leader for 20 years. He belonged to the Ironton B.P.O.E. #177 where he was a former Exalted Ruler, Ironton F.O.E. #895 and the Ironton K.of C. #1405. Wayne was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and most enjoyed singing with the mens choir. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by; a daughter; Kathryn Whitt three brothers; James Clinton, Walter Clinton and Leo Clinton two sisters; Muriel OBrien and Sylvia Clinton He is survived by his wife; Luthella (Lu) Buckley Clinton a son; Chris Clinton of Huntington, WV. a daughter; LuAnne Burgbacher of Franklin Furnace, OH a sister; Arlene Hanlon of Revere, MA. granddaughter; Kristina Clinton of Winter Garden FL. granddaughter; Potter of Coal Grove, OH. grandson; Shawn Burgbacher of Pahrump, NV. grandson; Brandon Whitt of Ironton, OH. three great-grandsons; Jaycob Daily, Aidryan Spitler and Bryce Burgbacher and several nieces and nephews services will be 2:00P.M. , 13, 2014 at Tracy Brammer-Monroe , 518 South 6th Street, Ironton, Ohio with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary . Friends may call from 12:00P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Donations may be made in Waynes honor to the Charity of your choice. Pallbearers for the service will be Chris Clinton, Brandon Whitt, Tom Smith, Ron Spillman, Talor Sanders and Corey Belville.
