Obituary: Pamela Jane Clark passed away at her home in Santa Clarita on , 24, 2010 with family by her side. Pam was born in 1954 in Cambridge, England and grew up in Woodland Hills, California. Pam and husband Neal moved to Canyon Country in 1983 to raise a family. In 1999, she began teaching for the Sulphur Springs School District. Pam loved teaching at Mint Canyon Elementary school and will be missed by the staff and students touched by her easy smile, wit, and grace. Earning her Master of Education in 2001 from the University of La Verne further demonstrated her willingness to go the extra mile for her kids. Pam loved reuniting with her Alpha Gamma Delta sorority sisters for a monthly dinner to catch up on their family lives. She greatly enjoyed going to Disneyland with her family and tried to go as often as she could. Pam loved USC football and would support the team every , whether at the game or not. Pam was extremely proud of her children and helped them to succeed in every aspect of their lives. Pam is survived by her husband of 30 years, Neal; daughter, Stephanie; her son, Andrew; parents, Lynn II and Nancy Jones; brothers, Lynn III and Chris Jones; sister-in-law Debbie Jones; nephews, Brad, Bryan, and Kevin Jones; and nieces, Katie and Kelly Jones. Services will be held at the Chapel on the Hill, Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall. Obituary: Lake Almanor Peninsula resident Ora (Orie) I. Clark passed peacefully from this life on , 29 in Reno, Nevada from recent health issues, at the age of 93. He was born and raised in the upstate New York area of Rushford and was the son of Ross and Elsie Ellen Hale Clark. had a farm that produced wheat, milk and butter. There were five children in the family, Harold, Jeannie, Wilma, Betty and Orie. Orie is survived by his sister Betty. He worked on the family farm until enlisting in the Army Air Force in , 1942. He served stateside in World War ll, as a Sergeant in the 420th Army Air Forces Base Unit, with an honorable discharge in , 1946. He met his first wife while serving in the military. married and settled in San Jose, California. He attended San Jose State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business. had three children, Jeffrey, Gary and Ellen Clark. While working for the Insurance of North America (INA) he met and married Lillian Viola Evanger Harmon and she added two children to the family, Dennis and Sandra Harmon. As Orie moved up the INA promotional ladder, he and Lil moved to Pennsylvania and then Indiana. thirty-six years with the company, he retired as the regional director of one of their large offices. In the mid-eighties, they moved back to California and they chose the Lake Almanor Peninsula to call home and have been there ever since. Orie was involved with the Lake Almanor Country Club Golf Course, serving on numerous committees. He also volunteered his time serving the Peninsula Fire District. Orie loved the outdoors, and that passion showed through fishing, boating, golfing, snow sledding or chopping wood with friends, family, and his best friend Lillian. He also never missed a Giants game, or the opportunity to camp out at Eagle Lake for opening day. Collectively Orie and Lil have five children, nine grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Orie is survived by them and his wife Lil. A celebration of his life will be held at the Fehrman Mortuary Chapel, 169 Main Street, Chester, on , 12 at 11:00.
