Obituary: Luis Rene Ceniceros, Sr. was born on 21, 1946, in Mexicali, Mexico. his parents were Vicente Ceniceros and Marcela Palomino Ceniceros. Our dad came to California in 1962 to work in the fields with his father. they lived in Santa Ana, Orange . He attended Valley High School where he met Linda R. Garcia and shortly after they were married. Their children are Laina, Luis, Jr. (deceased), LeeAnna and Leonard. His other children are Margaret, Luis (III), Joseph, Edward and Tony. He has twenty grandchildren. He later married Joann Perez. are now divorced. His siblings are Alma, Sylvia, "Candy", "Rosie", Armando and George. He lived in Santa Ana where he grew up with many aunts, uncles and cousins. He had a high school education and worked in an auto repair shop in Santa Ana where he worked as a welder until around 1977. He moved to the Inland Empire and worked in masonary for most of his life until he retired. He was a natural citizen of this country until his death on 20, 2011. Our father was a simple but complicated man, and in time, I feel we all got to understand that. He was not a man of many words, mostly abrupt ones, but in his own way, let us know what he was feeling. We know that there were things that he would have liked to have said, but did not know how. We know that there are places that he could have gone to, but chose to stay close to his kids. Our greatest joy is the fact that our father accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior before his death. We know that he is now with his son, Luis, Jr., his mother and his father. It gives us comfort to knnow that he is at peace and that there will be no more pain and suffering. He will at last be at peace. "And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven." Obituary: My brother, Luis Rene Ceniceros, Jr. Luis was born on 31, 1972, in the City of Orange. He grew up in Beaumont and later moved to Kansas where he spent time with our brothers who live there for the next 10 years. He moved back to California in 2002 and has lived in the Inland Empire until his death on 25, 2010. His immediate family consisted of his parents, Luis, Sr., and Linda Ruth Garcia, his grandmother, Prejadis (Prahedis) Ruth Garcia; his siblings, Laina Regina, Leeanna Ruth, Leonard Rubin, Joseph Samuel, William Eddy, Tony Vincent and Margaret. His beautiful children are Monique Nichole, Phedra Hope, Angel Joseph and Chyanne Rene; and his nieces and nephews who he considered his children, are Breeanna, Miles, Taylor, Anaissa (Anissa) and Jayden. He loved all of the rest of his nieces and nephews just as much, and knew that his brother Joe had his back in Kansas. Joe is the rock of everyone in Kansas. Luis went to Beaumont High School where he met his two best friends, Ricky Castillon and Eric Peterson. Ricky has already met our lord after his battle with cancer and Eric is here now and has always been here for my brother. In 2002 he met his other best friend and now rother, Leopoldo Polo Rodriquez. He always told Polo Familia por Vida: Family for Life. Growing up with my brother was an adventure. He always tried to be the peace maker. When I would get upset and go walking he would run after me and ask me, Where are you going? I would say For a walk. And he would say, Then Im walking with you. And he always was by my side. He loved to draw pictures, write poems and short stories. As an adult he loved cooking and still wrote poetry and made drawings. He worked as a cook for almost 20 years. He often talked about going to culinary school but ultimately his dreams were sidetracked. He had his first child, Monique, with her mother, Misty Clark, aside from officially making my mom a Grandma at a very young age, it brought him great joy. The rest of his children followed shortly after. he moved back to California, he has been with me ever since. He got his first pet, a mixed pit that he loved very much named, Baby. He moved to Apple Valley for a few months last year and he asked me to keep his baby for him. Baby never forgot him. He had a special whistle for her. When she heard him, she would come running from where ever she was at. My brother may not have been a community leader or a hero, but he was our hero who had the biggest heart of any one I have ever known. He had so much love in his heart and soul. He so wanted to be a etter person and did not understand that he was. When I was late getting home at night he would text me, Where is my Sissy and that made me feel so good. He has always loved me for me, no questions asked. He has always loved everyone that way. He never felt he deserved much or should ever ask for much. In fact, during his whole adult life, he struggled with his faith. It was not that he did not believe in God, he felt unworthy of Christs love. He may not have realized this, but when Christ walked the earth he didn hang out with the most polished, the most successful, or the most perfect people. He hung out with those who were rough around the edges. Christ chose and surrounded himself with imperfect people and those who regularly made mistakes. But there was one thing that Christs disciples had in common: they had love and kindness in their hearts. I am certain that when my brother met our Lord, the Lord recognized that while my brother may have been flawed and that he may have been imperfect, he was a loving and caring person with good intentions and a kind soul. I have no doubt that our Lord chose him and he is now by his side. That is who my brother was: a loving son, a loyal brother, a loving father and a best friend.
