Obituary: Greensboro - Ariail B. Creed, 88, passed away on 28, 2014. A celebration of life will be held , 2, 2014 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist church with Dr. Steve Pressley officiating. Ariail was born to John L and Elmer Creed in Greenville, SC on 17, 1926. He grew up in Fayetteville, NC and attended Presbyterian . He served in the US Navy during WWII and then served in the US Army during the Korean War. He got his pilots license and enjoyed flying private planes. Ariail was an Officer of the L.W. Routh Construction until his retirement. He was a long time member of First Baptist Church where he served in many capacities. His greatest love was his family. He enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, traveling and time at the beach. He resided at Well Spring where he had many friends, staff, employees and residents. He was predeceased by his parents; son Andy Ariail B. Creed, Jr. and two brothers, John L. Creed J.L. and Robert Bob Creed. He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Jacqueline Jackie Routh Creed; daughter Deedie Creed and son Drew Creed and wife Ana; two grandchildren Ana Maria and Andrew Creed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 1001 W. Friendly Avenue Greensboro, NC 27401 or to the Andy Creed Memorial Scholarship Fund, Campbell University, Buies Creek, NC 27506 in Ariails memory. Jessie was born on 19th 1932 to Jessie and Ruth Creecy, Jessie was a man who loved his wife, Children and grandchildren. Jessie was known for his crazy stories, his love for country music a hard worker who love the outdoors; working in his garden, with his flowers and hunting. Obituary: It is with a heavy heart that our family announces the passing of a wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, and friend on the 26th of , 2013. Yvonne was preceded in death by her loving husband William Henry (Pee Wee) Creech, Jr. and son baby boy William Ronnie Creech. Yvonne will be missed greatly by her daughter and son-in-law Dianne and Doug Fish, twin granddaughters, Caitlin and Madeleine Fish, daughter-in-law Mozelle Creech, grandson and wife Louis and Heather Clarke, great grandchildren, Hannah and Clara Clarke, Kristine Righter, Carrie Barbour, and grandson Scott Creech. Yvonne was the daughter of the late Howard and Ann Stelly of Goldsboro. She is survived by her brother and his wife Bobby and Grace Stelly of Norfolk, VA. Yvonne enjoyed her work at Austin Food and went to work everyday with a smile on her face. retiring she traveled with Pee Wee to Kerr Lake and Florida for many years. She enjoyed eating the fish that he caught each summer. She was happiest spending time with her family at home or at the lake. One of her greatest joys was spending the night and talking with her twin granddaughters Caitlin and Madeleine. will miss her greatly. Mom will always be remembered as a determined woman with a positive attitude and a smile. A funeral service in memory of Yvonne will be held at 11:00 on , 1st, 2013 at Montlawn Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8p.m. evening. Obituary: William Stevens Creech, Jr. passed away on 28, 2013 at his home in Greensboro, N.C. Steve was born 8, 1952 in High Point, the only son of Iris Culler Creech and William Stevens Bill Creech. He attended High Point city schools, The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tenn. and graduated from Guilford . In recent years Steve worked in security at Greensboro . Steve married Sharyn Moffitt in 1988 and lived in Asheville for many years. He was a caring stepfather to her three daughters. He loved art, music, and traveling the country to visit his family and friends. Steve will be remembered as a strong swimmer, a gentle soul, and a loving uncle to his nieces and nephews. Surviving Steve are his three sisters, Betsy Creech Raymond of Durham, Mary Anne Creech McIntire of Raleigh, and Susie Creech Fowls and husband Don of Paradise Valley, Az. He also is survived by his nieces, Sarah Raymond Williams and husband Carl, Liz Raymond Montgomery and husband Chad, and Kathryn Elizabeth McIntire; and three nephews; Matthew Fowls, Kristian Fowls, and Lucas Fowls, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation and services will be held on , 2, 2013 at Sechrest Services, 1301 E. Lexington Ave, High Point. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am with the service to follow at 11:30 am ward there will be an inurnment at the Columbarium at First Presbyterian Church in High Point. |
