Obituary: CARY- Roger Lee Couch, 65, of Cary passed away , 9, 2016 at Transitions Life in Raleigh. He fought a long battle of multiple illnesses after several years of declining health. He was born 27, 1950 in Durham, a son of Alvin and Violeta Smith Couch Sr. He married Barbara Williams. Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Barbara Williams Couch; daughter, Angela Couch (and husband, Robert Marcus) Horne; sons, Brian Lee (and wife Leslie Cline) Couch, and Brandon Lee (and wife, Laura White) Couch; grandchildren, Wyatt Lee, Shelby Jane, Brayden Walker, and Cameron Walker; and his mother-in-law, Peggy Ann Williams. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, and sisters. Roger served over 30 years in the Emergency Services profession working for Fire, EMS, and Police. From 1985 to 1998, Roger held the notable Rank as Police Captain for the Benson Police Department. The Boy Scouts of America provided the foundation for Rogers life and he proudly achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. A visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. , 13th, 2016 at Brown-Wynne in Cary. A private graveside will be at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Transitions Life 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC. www.brownwynnecary.com. |
