Obituary: Nellie Joyner Clemmer, 81, of Raleigh /Emerald Isle, passed away peacefully alongside her family on , 19, 2016. Her visitation celebration will be held at L. Harold Poole Service 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545 from 1:30pm – 3:30pm, , 27, 2016. It was Nellies request that everyone dress casually for the visitation. Nellie was born and raised in Nash . She was the daughter of Bauzy W. Joyner and Mary Lizzie Hendricks. Nellie worked in the banking industry all her life. She started at Planters National Bank in Rocky Mount, moved on to United Carolina bank in Raleigh, and then to BB&T where she retired. She loved her clients, most of which ended in wonderful friendships. Nellie had a smile that could light the world and a heart that could match it. She loved all her family and friends unconditionally. She enjoyed a game of cards always centered around bridge or poker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille J. Bone; brothers: Howard Joyner, Ambler Jake Joyner, and Jasper L. Joyner; nephews: James Joyner, William Billy Bone, and Dale C. Bone. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) Clemmer; son, Keith Carpenter; daughter, Arnella (Chris) Hunt; grandsons: Brandon and Mason Hunt; half-brothers: Nicky & J.D. Joyner; half-sisters: Margie Hill, Judy Watson and Margaret Ferrell and several niece and nephews. Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to SPCA or Hospice of Carteret . |

Obituary: Jon Clemmer 1946-2017 Dallas – Jon Alan Clemmer, 70 passed away peacefully on 21, 2017 at Robin Johnson House with his family by his side. Jon was born in Arkansas to the late Doyle Deaton Clemmer, Sr. and Clairetta Harris Clemmer. He was a lifetime member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church where he served in the choir. Jon loved music, he enjoyed playing his guitar. Left to cherish his memories include his brother, Doyle D. Clemmer, Jr and wife Darlene, sister Sandra C. Austin and husband Wayne; nieces and nephews, Preston Clemmer, Kevin, Sharon and Kathy; special aunt and uncle Wayne Ann Penley and husband Bud; and his beloved fur baby Turbo The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m., , 23, 2017 at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 725 Gastonia Technology Parkway, Dallas, NC with a Celebration of Life Service following at 3:00 p.m., with Pastor Peter Feige officiating.
