Obituary: Mrs. Clark, age 86 passed away 20 at Carillon Assisted Living in Monroe, NC. She was born 28, 1928, in Cooleemee, NC to the late Walter Benton and Blanche Parker Stevenson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harold B. Clark and her sister Peggy Keith. Mrs. Clark was a member of Myers Park United Methodist Church and worked as a legal secretary for a number of years. To those she loved, she is remembered as: feisty, protective, loving, an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles, enjoyed sports and spring bouquets. The family will receive friends for a reception and visitation starting 1:00 P. M. on , 25, 2015 at McEwen Service Charlotte Chapel at 5716 Monroe Road Charlotte, NC 28212 followed by a funeral service at 2:00 P. M. in the funeral home chapel . Private Interment will follow services. She is survived by two daughters: Robin Funderburk of Monroe, NC and Sandi Covington and husband Chris of Indian Trail,NC and her grand dog Cinnamon. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Carillon as well as Hospice and Palliative of Charlotte for their compassionate care of Mrs. Clark. Obituary: Eula Mae Clark, 87, of Benson, died on 27, 2014. Eula lived for Jesus, studying the Bible and sharing it with family. She was a super stay at home mother, wife, grandma, friend, and caregiver. There was nobody that she would not reach out a hand for. She took special care of her embelent husband, and enjoyed sewing in her spare time and even sewed for a local store She is survived by William Ray, Robert (Bobby) Everett, Barbara Lynn, Janice Marie, brother Edgar Lee, sisters, Lillian, Eunice, Mary Lois, and Francis, as well as 15 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Connie. A funeral service will be held on , May 1, 2014 at 12:00pm, with a visitation one hour prior, at Mitchell , 7209 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park. |
