Obituary: Anne P. Pam Carpenter 73, of stead Avenue, Swanzey, NH, died , 1, 2015 at the Catholic Medical in Manchester, NH.

She was born in Boston, MA, 26, 1942, the daughter of Fay and Elvira (Kreutz) Jennings. She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and was a graduate of Shaw High School in Cleveland. She later attended Boston University.

While growing up in Cleveland, her family spent their summers in Whitefield, NH. Mrs. Carpenter came to love the area and when her parents retired, the family moved to Whitefield to reside there year-round. She later resided in Greenfield, NH and then in Peterborough, NH for 18 years before moving to Harrisville, NH in 1988. She has been a resident of Swanzey since 2006.

Over the years, Mrs. Carpenter had worked at Crotched Mountain, Rehabilitation , She spent many years working alongside her husband at Youngs Furniture and Monadnock Cable and went on to work for Curtis Manufacturing. Before she retired she became a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked at Rivermead in Peterborough.

She enjoyed reading and listening to music. She had a particular fondness for the Cleveland Symphony and her favorite pastime was the time she was able to spend with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Anne Mackey of Dublin, NH, Justin Carpenter and his wife, Shannon of Dublin, Shane Carpenter and his wife, Elizabeth of Clinton, CT, Daniel Carpenter of Johnston, RI, Julia Trabucco of Hillsborough, NH; nine grandchildren, Meghan Carpenter, Giuseppe Carpenter, Dominic Carpenter, Cole Carpenter, Dan Carpenter, Faith Carpenter, Lauren Mackey, Zachary Mackey, Emma Carpenter; three brothers, Mark Jennings of Marlborough, NH, Chris Jennings of Dover, NH, Paul Jennings of West Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 45 years, Gordon E. Carpenter, on 12, 2015, and a brother, William Jennings in 1987.

A memorial service will be held , 24, 2015 at 2:00PM in the Dublin Community Church, 1125 Main Street (Route 101), Dublin. Family and friends are welcome.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Mrs. Carpenters memory to the Salvation Army, 15 Roxbury Plaza, Keene, NH 03431.

Obituary: LOUDON \ Suzanne Carone, 66, of Loudon passed away at the CRVNA Hospice House in Concord, surrounded by her loving family.

Suzanne was born in Lynn, Massachusetts a daughter of Dennis and Barbara (Pence) Torris. She attended local schools in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School.

moved to Loudon in 2006. She was employed by the Department of Motor Vehicles for several years until her passing.

Suzanne is remembered for being a great cook as well as a loving mother and grandmother. She possessed a tremendous knack for fixing just about anything which included the plumbing on her son Carmens camp. She loved NASCAR and enjoyed going to the Sprint Cup race in every year. She loved visiting Bar Harbor and camping at Lost River.

Suzanne was predeceased by her father, Dennis M. Torris; her husband of 46 ½ years, Carmen F. Carone, and a brother, Dennis Torris.

She is survived by her mother, Barbara Fielding of Standish, ME; her son, Carmen Carone and his wife Karen of Loudon; her daughter, Susan Carone of Loudon; her two sisters, Patricia Cogswell-Key of Jacksonville, FL and Kathleen Faucett of Bradenton, FL, three grandchildren, Noelle and Cori Carone both of Loudon and Courtney Carone of Concord and one great grandson, Hunter Matott of Concord.

A public hour of visitation will take place on , 28 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett , 3 Church Street, Concord. (The brick building.)

Obituary: Carmen Francis Carone, 66, died , 18, 2011 at Concord Hospital in Concord.

Born in Lynn, MA, he was the son of Carmine and Irma (Rodenbaugh) Carone.

For 38 years, Mr. Carone worked as a truck driver for Seaboard Products in Massachusetts. He enjoyed riding his ATV and was a member of the New Hampshire ATV Club. He participated in the Toys for Tots ride as a trailmaster.

He constantly helped his neighbors, enjoyed woodworking, gardening and growing hot peppers. He was an avid Patriots fan and loved animals.

Survivors include his wife of 46 ½ years, Suzanne (Torris) Carone of Loudon; his son Carmen Carone and his wife Karen of Loudon; his daughter Susan Carone of Loudon; one brother William Carone of Epsom; one sister, Margaret Neubert of Lynn, MA, three grandchildren, Noelle Carone and Cori Carone both of Loudon and Courtney Carone of Concord; and one great grandson Hunter Matott of Concord and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial calling hours will be held on , 25, 2011 from 11am-1pm at the Bennett , 209 N. Main Street, Concord. Memorial services will be private.

She was born in Boston, MA on 22, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Anna (Morrow) Shack.


Virginia has been a Nashua resident since 1948. She bought her home in 1959 and resided there until 2005. She was a stay at home mother and was very dedicated to her caring for her family. She enjoyed embroidery and quilting. All of Virginias family member have beautiful quilts made by her. Virginia greatest passion and achievement in her life was her family. She lived for he kids.


She is predeceased by her husband Joseph M. Caron in 1999; two brothers, William and Mark Shack, and a sister, Patricia Jackson.


Virginia is survived by three daughters, Maureen Heedles and her husband James of Amherst, NH, Karen Snell of Washington, NH and Andrea Huffy of NC; a son, David Caron of, NH; four brothers, James Shack of MA, Arthur Shack of FL, Richard Shack of MA and Donald Shack of MA; two sisters, Ann Calhoun of FL and Roberta Shull of MA; ten grandchildren; several great grand children; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered for her dedication, gentleness and compassion, for the sisters in her community as well as all with whom she was able to serve. He received his early education in Manchester and later was a graduate from the Vocational Technical school in Berlin as a welder. He lived in Manchester all of his life. IN HIS LIFE: Mr. Caron worked for many years at Kalwall Inc. in Manchester. He loved to take apart and fix radios and later televisions. He had a love for Chinese food and could never get enough. He loved to eat and was a big man until he became sick. His most enjoyable experience was last he took a ride in his nephews skydiving plane and this was the last thing his remembered before his memory failed him. Obituary: Roderic C. Caron, Sr. 79, a resident of the New Hampshire Veterans in Tilton died 23, 2010 at his residence after a long illness. He was born in Manchester on May 15, 1930, the son of Romeo and Mary Elizabeth (Mulligan) Caron and resided in Manchester most of his life.

He was educated in the local school system and was a graduate of Central High School and attended New Hampshire . Prior to his retirement he had been employed for many years as a service advisor at Banks Chevrolet in Concord. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.

His wife of 49 years, Marie Anne (Gionet) Caron died on 6, 2006.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing and was known as an accomplished fly fisherman as well as an award-winning archer. Mr. Caron was also an accomplished and creative workman who was a master at the trades including auto mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, and electronics.

He is survived by a son, Roderic C. Caron, Jr. and his wife Lea of Bow, NH; a brother Robert L. Caron of Meredith; a sister Natalie Mahoney of Meredith as well as nieces and nephews.

A memorial reception was held on , 1st from 10 AM to Noon in the McHugh , 483 Beech St., corner of Hanover St. A memorial service followed at noon in the funeral home. Private urn encryptment was in the NH Veterans in Boscawen, NH. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NH Veterans , Resident Benefit Fund, 139 Winter St., Tilton, NH 03276.

Obituary: Raymond R. Caron, 71, of Hillsborough, formerly of Manchester, died 18, 2016 in Ft. Myers, FL after a long illness. He was born in Manchester on 4, 1945 the son of Raymond W. and Mildred M. (Mitchell) Caron. He was a lifelong resident of the Queen City before relocating to Hillsborough and was educated at St. Anthony Elementary and High School where he was a member of the graduating class of 1963. He was also a member of St. Anthonys Church Mens Choir.

Following his graduation, he enlisted in the US Marine Corps proudly serving during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a truck driver with Associated Grocers of New England with over 43 years of service. Ray was dedicated to his community serving in many capacities. He was a lifetime member and commander of the Henry J. Sweeney Post #2 American Legion, a member and commander of the Catholic War Veterans (CWV) and a member and commander of the Veterans Council. He volunteered at the VA Hospital and was instrumental in the construction of the POW/MIA monument at Veterans Park and in organizing many Memorial Day and Veterans Day parades. He was the recipient of the 1992 Union Leader/ Maurice McQuillen Award and also the Thomas King Award for community service.

He loved all sports as both a player and coach. He was a coach of CWV Baseball, Manchester East Youth Soccer and the Manchester Regional Youth Hockey (MRYHA).

Members of his family include his wife of 46 years Jeanine Jean (Verville) Caron, his daughter Micheline Peterson and her husband Robert all of Hillsborough, his son Raymond W. Caron and his fiancée Jennifer Donovan of Epping, his grandchildren Nicholas Peterson of Hillsborough and Emily Donovan and Ryan Donovan both of Epping, his three sisters Elaine Landry and her husband Bob of Roanoke, VA, Phyllis Gagnon and her husband Roland and Leslie Tsiorbas and her husband Dennis, his two brothers Denis Caron and Marc Caron and his wife Pam all of Manchester as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on 10 from 4 to 8 pm at the McHugh 283 Hanover St. corner of Beech St. in Manchester. A Mass was celebrated on 11 at 10 am in St. Anthony of Padua Church 172 Belmont St. Manchester. Urn burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations in Rays name be made to Sweeney Post Legion Baseball 251 Maple St. Manchester, NH 03103.

Obituary: Patricia M. Caron, 70, of Bedford, NH died 1, 2006 at her residence after a brief illness. She was born in Worcester, MA, on 17, 1936, the daughter of Peter and Anne (Riddick) Pallys of Brewster, MA. She was a nurse at St. Vincents Hospital where she met her husband of 38 years, Marcel J. Caron, M.D. In 1963, they moved to Manchester where Marcel practiced as a surgeon at Catholic Medical for 26 years. She was predeceased by her husband in 1994. Patricia was a dedicated servant to those less fortunate for many years. She volunteered for countless charities by coordinating food and clothing distribution both locally and internationally. She dedicated her life to instilling Christian principles in her family and friends. Her tireless devotion to caring for her children and grandchildren never faltered. She will be dearly missed. She is survived by one daughter, Deanna Caron of Goffstown; three sons, Thomas Caron of Bedford, Richard Caron of Phoenix, AZ, and David Caron of Goffstown; six grandchildren; three sisters, Anne Marie Campbell of Storrs, CT, Dorothy Valinski of Eastham, MA, and Marilyn McDougall of Cambridge, MA; nephews and nieces. The funeral service took place 5, 2006 at Shiloh Christian Fellowship, 55 Edmond St., Manchester. Burial followed in Mt. Calvary .
