Obituary: BEVERLY ANN CLARK 1935 – 2014 Beverly Ann (Haas) Clark age 79 of Plattsmouth, NE passed away on , 19, 2014 at the Bellevue Medical in Bellevue, NE. Beverly was born on 9, 1935 to Lawrence Francis and Violet May (Land) Haas in North Bend, OH. She was raised and schooled in Madison, IN, and Greensburg, IN. She attended Greensburg High School. She met Walter Hawkins and they were later married on 7, 1957 in Greensburg, IN. Beverly and Walter made their home in and around the Greensburg, IN area. Beverly was a wife, homemaker, and mother. Then she met David D. Clark Jr. and they were later married on 20, 1983 in Shreveport, LA. Beverly and David made their home in r, LA and then in 1997 they moved to Plattsmouth, NE and she has been here since. Beverly is survived by her two daughter: Elizabeth Ann Shoemaker and husband Richard of Plattsmouth, NE, Tari Hobson of Shelbyville, IN, five sons: David W. Hawkins of Omaha, NE, Joe Hawkins and wife Denise of Omaha, NE, Wallace Hawkins of Omaha, NE, William Bill Hawkins and wife Tracy of Caddo Mills, TX, Lyndon Hawkins of McCloud, OK, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three brothers: David Haas and wife Karen of St. Joseph, MO, Michael Haas of Westport, IN, Gordon Haas of Defiance, OH, one step brother: Larry Rush of Albuquerque, NM, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lawrence and Violet Haas, her husbands: Walter Hawkins ( 2, 1996) and David Clark Jr. ( 21, 2003), son: Eric A. Haas, and three brothers: Ronald P. Haas, Robert D. Haas, and L. Joseph Haas. A Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., , 23, 2014 at Roby in Plattsmouth, NE with Pastor Steve Holdaway officiating. Pallbearers will be Lyndon Hawkins, Joe Hawkins, Zachary Hawkins, Ronnie Simoneau, Richard Shoemaker, and Ronnie Shoemaker. Final Resting Place will be at Oak Hill in Plattsmouth, NE. Memorials suggested to the familys choice. |

Obituary: Bernard L. Clark, of Lincoln passed away 15, 2015. He was born 15, 1922 to Floyd and Jenny (Barber) Clark in Vesta, NE. He was a graduate of View High School. Bernard served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Bernie worked at Elgin Watch in Lincoln until its closing; he then worked for his step brother Harry Von Dane at Lincoln Mattress ; he later was self employed as an upholsterer, retiring in 1985. Bernie is survived by his wife, Carol (Harris) Clark; son Jeffrey C. (Shelly) Clark of Lincoln; grandson, Connor Clark of Omaha; granddaughters, Amber Clark and Carly Clark of Lincoln; cousins, Virgil Clark of Fremont and Margaret Clark of Perham, MN; as well as nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; baby brother, Melvin; older brother, Loyd Clark; step-brothers, Harry and Ralph Von Dane; and step-sisters, Evelyn Grieving and Leora Miller. A Celebration of Bernie’s Life will be at 11:30 AM 21, 2015 at Lincoln Memorial . Inurnment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park. No public viewing or visitation. Memorials in his memory may be directed to the donor’s choice. |
