Obituary: Marian Therese Czachorski aged 95, of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly with her family by her side on , 5, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Louis Czachorski, siblings, Catherine Hannah, Anthony, Anna and Ike Fila. Marian will be lovingly remembered by her children, John (Denise) Czachorski, Molly Jo (Steve) Jennings, grandchildren, Sara, Ryan Czachorski, Marykate, Allison Jennings, brothers and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thanks to her card playing extended family and to staff and friends at Villa Maria for the loving care and friendship over the years. Marian loved; reading, hemming clothes, making soup, hunting mushrooms, watching her Tigers and Cubs games and her grand-dog Dudley. Being a part of her Bridge Club for so many years was dear to her heart. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM , 9, 2010 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 2275 Diamond Ave NE with Rev. George Darling as celebrant. Interment in Resurrection . Friends and family may greet Marians family on from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Reyers North Valley Chapel 2815 Fuller Ave NE and one hour prior to the service at church. A Scripture Service will take place 8:30 PM on at the funeral home. Obituary: Margaret Jane Czachorski, aged 92 went to be with her Lord on 15, 2015. Margaret was born at home in Grand Rapids, MI. She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald, as well as her brother John Steffens. Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her children Lynne (Gordon) DeVries, Dianne (Mike) Mollema, and Marc (Lynn) Czachorski, her grandchildren Stephen (Corey) Veldheen, Melissa (Mitch) Gathercole, Bryan Muir, Aaron (Amanda) Muir, Lori (Mike) Baird, Megan Czachorski, Eric (Katrina) Czachorski, Adam Czachorski, Trevor Schatzlein, and great-grandchildren Frank, Sadie, Ellery, Brynn, Brayden, Makayla, Alexis, Kendal, Weston, and Mya. In addition Margaret leaves behind her brother Bill (BJ) Steffens, sisters Phyllis (Wayne) Martin and Marilou Gladstone, sisters-in-law Marcia (Don) Denhof and Joyce Soltysiak, brothers-in-law Jerry (Annabelle) Czachorski and Wayne G. Martin, as well as many nieces and nephews. Margaret was very proud of her time served with the United States Army during WWII. She will be remembered as a loving, kind, and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. Margarets family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Allendale for the tender loving care given to Margaret for the past 3 years. Family visitation will be held at Reyers North Valley Chapel on , 20, 2015 from 10-11am with a memorial service beginning at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Margarets memory to either the Allendale and Rehabilitation center or In the Image. |
