Obituary: CZAP- Of Garland, Maine, formerly of Chelsea, 11th. Devoted wife of the late Franciszek Czap. Loving mother of Christine Avery and her husband Wayne of Garland, Maine and Frank S. Czap of Aurora, Colorado. Cherished grandmother of Bryan and Matthew and great grandmother of Jason Czap. Josephine was born and raised in Chelsea. She graduated St. Stanislaus, Williams and Chelsea High School. She worked for many years for the Knight Leather in Boston and Jamaica Plain. Due to her husbands illness, she returned to work for Kayem Foods from where she retired. She was a member of the Holy Rosary Society as well as a Legion of Honor member of the Polish Falcons of America. At her request, funeral services are private. Obituary: Auburn - Theresa M. Cyr 87 of Greene died 12, 2015 at the Androscoggin Hospice House with her family by her side. Born in Keagan, 19, 1927 a daughter of the late Arthur & Maryann Parent Morin she was educated in Keagan schools. She was married to Roland J. Cyr in 1945 who died 13, 2008 also at the age of 87. Mrs. Cyr was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish, Ladies of St. Anne's Sodality and Dominican Associates. She worked in the textile industry at the Cooan Mill. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, canning, cooking, family get-togethers, playing Farkel (dice game), word search, but most of all caring for her family. Our mom will be remembered for her love, patience, a bright smile, sparkling blue eyes, playing the accordion, hard work, praying the rosary daily, and loving her husband to the end. She is survived by 4 daughters, Sr. Dolores (Rolande) N. Cyr O.P. of Sabattus, Gloria M Cormier of Greene, Louise M. Moreau and husband Daniel of Greene, Susan Cyr of Monmouth, 4 sons, Robert R. Cyr Sr. and wife Terri of Greene, Rosaire J. Cyr and wife Linda of Lewiston, Joseph L. Cyr and wife Denise of Lewiston, John J. Cyr and wife Belinda of Greene, grandchildren: Robert Jr. and Nicole, Patty, Gary, Chris and Jamie, Dr. D.J. and Kara, Shane Danielle and Ray , Matthew, Amanda, Nicole, Chantelle and Jamie, Nickolas, Patrick, Shohn, and Ashley 7 great-grandchildren 4 sisters, Marguerite Courtemanche, Anita Giguere, Marie Dustin, Rita Chapman and husband Eddie, her brother Fernand Morin and wife Gaytaene. She was predeceased by a daughter Dolores Cyr, a sister Jeannine Giguere, 5 brothers Antoine, Lionel, Percy, Norman and Adrien Morin. The family wishes to thank Androscoggin Hospice House for their compassionate care. Obituary: Rumford - Teresa Terry Cyr, 81, of Franklin St. passed away peacefully at her home on 26, 2016. She was born in Salem, MA on 26, 1935 a daughter of Henry C. and Eleanor (OConnor) Page. Terry was educated in Salem, MA schools. She was employed as a CNA for many years at Blueberry Hill in Beverly, MA and later at Dixfield in Dixfield, ME. Terry drove bus for the Rumford School Department, worked at the Mexico Public Library and St. Johns School. She loved shopping on the QVC shopping network, cross stitching, doing crafts, watching the New England Patriots and collecting Angels made by Jim Shore. Terrys family was active in the racing world and a highlight in her life was driving the family race car in the Powder Puff Derby at the Oxford Plains Speedway. Surviving are her two sons; Mark H. Cyr and wife Victoria L. of Mexico and Scott F. Cyr, Sr. and companion Debra of Canton; two brothers, William Page and wife Carol of Beverly, MA and James Page and wife Roberta of Florida; grandson Mark H. Cyr Jr. of Mexico and Scott F. Cyr Jr. of Peru; and a great granddaughter Rylee Cyr. She was predeceased by her parents and a granddaughter, Fallon Cyr. The family would like to thank everyone at River Valley Internal Medicine, especially Joanne Broomhall for her special care throughout the many years. |
