Obituary: LEWISTON - Carmen F. Cote, 86 of Lewiston died , Nov. 29 at St. Mary's d'Youville Pavilion. She was born in Lewiston, daughter of the late Joseph and Marie Normand Cote. She was educated in Lewiston schools and was employed at Bates Manufacturing and local shoe shops prior to her retirement. She enjoyed cooking, healthy eating, feeding the birds and had made a frequent habit of buying a bread at Grant's Bakery. She was affectionately known at "Little Carmen" by people who knew her. She was a very devout and prayerful member of Prince of Peace Parish at the Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. She is survived by a brother, Laurier Cote of Massachusetts and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Gloria Montminy and four brothers, Damien, Perley, Roland and Roger Cote. Obituary: OLD TOWN - Carl D. Cote, 64, died 13, 2015 at a Bangor health care facility. He was born May 3, 1951 a son of Daniel L. and Viola M. (Bouchard) Cote. Carl loved the outdoors enjoying, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, running, riding his motorcycle, riding in his pick up truck, and visiting the Maine coast. He was employed for over 35 years at the Old Town Paper Mill and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He will be remembered for always lending a helping hand to his friends and neighbors. He is survived by three sisters Judy Polyot and her husband Stephen of Hermon, Nancy Marra and her husband Dave of NH; and Linda Cote of Bangor; special uncle Al Cote of Old Town; several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He was predeceased by his parents. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10AM at Parish of the Resurrection Holy Family Church, Old Town. Burial will follow at St. Joseph . Immediately following the services, all are invited to the Parish for a light luncheon and continued fellowship. Obituary: LEWISTON - Annette L. Cote, 80, of Lisbon, passed quietly into the arms of her Saviour on , 28, surrounded by her loving children and family. She was born in Lisbon on 17, 1933, the daughter of Joseph T. and Florida (Michaud) Latouche. Annette married the love of her life, Hubert E. Cote, also of Lisbon, on 6, 1953. Together, Annette and Hubert forged a bond, a determined and caring partnership, which sustained them through the good and the not so good times. Annettes kind heart and compassionate nature made her a terrific Mom and a wonderful friend. Her children were her world, and to her children, Annette was the sunshine their world revolved around. A warm, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Annette inspired her family to be kind, think of others, appreciate nature, love strongly, and work hard. Always prepared to offer a word of wisdom or a cookie, Annette listened with her heart. During her lifetime, she attained a college education, ran the household, and worked at several local businesses including Maine Electronics and LL Bean, for the betterment of her family. She is survived by her four treasured children and spouses Teri St.Onge and Peter, of Lisbon, Roger Cote and Sharon, of Lisbon, Dee Green of Lisbon and Laurie Cote and Kelly Armstrong, of Northeast Harbor; six dear grandchildren, Jacques and Anna St.Onge, Joe, Valeen, Joshua and Jered Cote; and five great grandchildren, Silvia, Jared, Katie, Jaxon and Ethan. Besides her parents, Annette was predeceased by her husband and her two brothers, Marcel and Roland Latouche.
