Obituary: OLD TOWN - Lucienne Elise Cloutier, 105, a resident of Treat & Webster Island aka French Island, passed away peacefully at home May 13, 2015 with her family by her side. Lucienne was born on 24, 1909 in St. Cyprien, Québec, Canada. She was the second-youngest of the 14 children born to Joseph and Adeline (Cote) Dionne. her mother passed away due to complications of childbirth, Lucienne moved to this country with her father and siblings in 1913. She became a naturalized citizen in 1946. Lucienne grew up on a farm in the Pea Cove area of Old Town. She attended school in Pea Cove, which was a one-room schoolhouse. One of her classmates was the soon-to-be-famous singer Harold "Lone Pine" Breau. She met Louis N. Cloutier Sr. in Pea Cove, and they married at St. Joseph Church in Old Town on 4, 1932. moved to Treat & Webster Island, where they raised their four children. were married for 62 years until his passing on 3, 1994. Lucienne was a member of the Holy Family Parish of Old Town and of the Old Town Senior Citizen Club for many years. She and her daughter Theresa were members of the Old Town/Orono YMCA, where Lucienne enjoyed her daily walks and made many friends. Energetic and vital, Lucienne always liked to be engaged in work or activities. Lucienne was an active member of the PO-KE-NO Club, which gathered weekly, for over 50 years. She enjoyed travel as well, visiting France and Italy and attending graduations and weddings of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Over the years, Lucienne worked at various businesses in the Old Town area. However, she most enjoyed her many years of service working with the Shirley family at the Orono Commons nursing home, from which she retired in 1999 at the age of 90. Lucienne and her husband Louis built a camp on Pushaw Lake in 1952. She found great enjoyment spending summers there for the next 62 years, surrounded by their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends who visited. The lake was a gathering place for family events through the years, and she loved to participate in the many spirited card games played around the kitchen table. She also enjoyed the daily boat rides and beautiful sunsets from the front porch. She was a friend and inspiration to all who knew her and was adored by her family.Lucienne was predeceased by her husband Louis N. Cloutier Sr.; her sisters Alma Beaulieu, Amelia Paradis, Anna Violette, Ida Picard, Alice Lagasse, Yvonne Dionne, Eva Cote, Eugenie Fortin, and Marie Louise LaPlante; her brothers Philip Dionne, Napoleon Dionne, and Joseph Dionne; and her son-in-law Robert G. Hart.Lucienne is survived by her daughter Theresa Hart of Old Town, her son Louis N. Cloutier Jr. and his wife Dorli of Bolton, CT, her son Calixte W. Cloutier and his wife Adele of Harpswell, ME, and her son Michael H. Cloutier and his wife Joan of Auburn, ME. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Lucienne was blessed with many loving and caring nieces and nephews who have survived her. We are all fortunate to have had Lucienne in our lives.Friends may call 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 at the Birmingham , 438 Main St., Old Town, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9AM Parish of the Resurrection, Holy Family Church Old Town, ME, with Rev. Wilfred Labbe, celebrant. Obituary: Waterville - Linda Jean Cloutier, 60, died after a long illness on 9, 2011, to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. Linda was born on 30, 1950 to Albert Cloutier Sr, and Lucienne (Boucher) Cloutier. Linda was one of three children, her older brotherAlbert Cloutier Jr. died in 1997 at the age of 58. Linda was predeceased by her parents, grandparents, Mr & Mrs Ephrem Cloutier Sr, and Mr & Mrs Arthur Boucher both of Waterville and also a nephew Marc Cloutier. Linda is survived by her brother Gerald and wife Lorraine Trahan Cloutier and their son Nicholas, also her niece Donna Cloutier Jones and her God-Daughter Tiffany Cloutier. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. In her lifetime, Linda was a kind, generous, loving, and thoughtful person. Her interest and hobbies were music of all kinds. She was a especially proud and happy to be a member of the Sacred Heart folk Group. She was a regular beano player and liked to read. Linda was also very happy to be at family gatherings. Linda graduated from Waterville High School in 1968. She went on to do office work at Waterville Hardware, LaVerdiersDrug Stores main Office and also at Wal-Mart. Obituary: AUBURN: Joseph George Cloutier, 86, of Lewiston passed away on 23, 2016 at the Hospice House in Auburn with his family by his side. He was born in Lewiston on 28, 1929 a son of the late Francois and Helene (Bourassa) Cloutier. He grew up in the Lewiston area and attended local schools there. In his late teens, George was drafted by the United States Army and proudly served his country for two years. exiting the military, he worked various jobs including being a machine operator for Pioneer Plastics. During that time, he married Irene (Madore) Cloutier on 29, 1969. George will always be remembered for his joy of helping out his sisters, brother and his family. He was always known for being a genuinely nice, kind hearted person. He is survived by his son Richard Corriveau of Buckfield as well as his siblings; Helene Lapointe of Auburn, Elise Hamel of Lewiston, Claudette Martel and her husband Gerald of Auburn and Noel Cloutier and his wife Yuri of Danbury, CT. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife Irene and a brother, Paul Cloutier.
