Obituary: Celebration of life service for Dixie Lorene Coyle will be held at Central Assembly of God in Haughton, LA, on , 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Andy Harris will be officiating the service. The family will be receiving friends at Central Assembly of God Chapel on , 6, 2014 from 6:00 \ 8:00 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Point Chapel , in Doyline, LA. Dixie enjoyed playing the piano, camping with her dear friend, JoAnn, working in her yard, feeding and watching the birds and squirrels, traveling the world with her brother Joe, and loved taking care of her brother Jack. She also enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles, playing basketball with her grandsons, hanging out with her granddaughters, cooking, and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by: her sister Christine Reeves, her husband of 34 years Joe Buck Coyle, her parents Fred and Scooter Booth, her brothers Albert and Raymond Booth, and sister-in-law Betty Booth. She is survived by her children: Cheryl Larkin and husband John, Garry Coyle and wife Susan, Twyla Balentine and husband Lee, grandchildren, David and Eric Larkin, Alexis Balentine Schmaltz, Kaley Balentine, Kyle Roberts and Kaden Coyle, and her brothers Joe Booth, Jack Booth, Jimmy Booth, and Ricky Reeves. Dana was the kind of person who could make you laugh and cry, make you want to fight for life and for what was right, and inspired you to live for Jesus. Obituary: MARGIE CORA SIBLEY COXE Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Maw Maw Coxe, 94 years young, born on 22, 1921, died at her residence in Walker, Louisiana evening, 9, 2016, of Congestive Heart Failure. Margie and John just had a wonderful celebration party of their 70th Wedding Anniversary the previous with many friends and family in attendance. The couple was married on 7, 1945. Margie is survived by her faithful, loving & devoted husband, John Erwin Coxe, Sr., of Walker, her daughter, Lynn Coxe Graham of Baton Rouge, a son, John E. Coxe, Jr. of San Diego, California. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Alice Coxe Buzzell of Baton Rouge, her parents, R. W. Babe Sibley & Myrtle Jones Sibley of Walker & a great-grandson, Matthew Beach of Arlington, Virginia. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Joanna Jackson Haynes, Bryce Douglas Beals, Matthew Coxe, John Ross Buzzell, John Coxe III, Brooke Beals Beach, Analyn Buzzell, James R. Coxe, George Taylor Buzzell and Jordan Coxe; and eleven great-grandchildren, and one special grand-dog, Christopher Graham, age 18. Margie and her husband were the owners of Coxe Supermarket in Walker for many decades. She was a fabulous cook and funny-to-the-bone with a witty remark to almost anything you could think of. She had a heart of gold and a lead foot on the pedal. Her laugh was contagious and frequent. She will be dearly missed here on Earth until we see her again in Heaven. So until then, its a Hot Rod Ford and a $2 bill for everyone! Obituary: Louise L. Coxe, a native of Greensburg, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on , 8, 2016 at the age of 97 years old. Louise was married to the love her life, Earl, for more than 60 years. were members of the 1st United Methodist Church of Baton Rouge. She lived a long and healthy vegetarian life. She lived most of her life in Baton Rouge, but raised her family in Alexandria, VA, where she resided for 35 years. During that time she formed a close group of friends that lasted a lifetime with whom she enjoyed traveling and cruising. Louise was an avid golfer in her adult life and enjoyed playing in tournaments and going on golf trips with her golfing buddies. She loved her country club memberships in both Virginia and Louisiana. All types of games were a passion for Louise. She was part of a monthly bridge group, played scrabble with friends and always did the crossword puzzles. If there was ever a game of bingo going on, Louise would be there. The casinos were big fun for Louise, she went every chance she got to play the slot machines. Always wary of too big a loss, the nickel machines were for favorite. She is survived by her daughters, Sarah K. Coxe and Vicky (Coxe) Taylor and husband, Edward; granddaughters, Lindsey Taylor and Virginia Taylor; sister-in-law, Nettie Louise Campbell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Earl W. Coxe; son, Lindsey E. Coxe; parents, Otis D. Lindsey and Effie M. (Hamberlin) Lindsey; and siblings, Aline Lindsey, Natalie (Lindsey) Bowden, and W. Ewell Lindsey. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks on , 18, 2016 from 1 p.m. until Service at 2 p.m. officiated by Reverend Becky Poor. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park. A native of Houston, Texas and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, Bill served our country for 30 years in the military, taught ROTC at LSU and later a police officer for LSU where he retired. He is survived by daughter, Sandra Aultman and husband Wade; sons, Larry Foles and wife Melissa; Max Foles and wife Tami and Robert Penn; eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother, Jerry and wife Sharron Cox; sisters, Betty Connett, Etta Orrell and husband Grady, Estiline and husband Verlon Magulin and numerous nephews and nieces. Preceded in death, the love of his life, wife Norma; parents, Everett and Olife Mae; four brothers and six sisters. Visitation will be , 16, 2013, from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm. Visitation will resume at 12:00 pm, , 17, 2013 until the funeral service at 2:00 pm at Greenoaks . Entombment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park Mausoleum.
