Obituary: KAGUN ELLIOTT CARTER COX FUNERAL HOME BASTROP, LA. services for Kagun Elliott Carter will be held 2:00 p.m. , May 25, 2017, at New Life Church of God, Bastrop, Louisiana. Brother Joey Kennedy will officiate the services. Committal and interment will follow at Memorial Park under the direction of Cox of Bastrop. The family will receive friends on , May 24th, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at New Life Church of God. Kagun was born 24, 2012 in Minden, Louisiana and he passed away following a drowning accident on May 20, 2017 in Ashdown, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Harriett Pye Carter. Kagun was a ray of sunshine. He loved fishing, riding bicycles and scooters. He enjoyed playing outside. He was all boy. Kagun was loved by his family and all who were fortunate to know him. He is survived by his parents, Melady Carter and Clay Carter; his two sisters, Kaylynn Carter and LeeAnn Carter all of Nashville, Arkansas; maternal grandparents, Frank (Buck) Smith and Melissa Smith of Bastrop, Louisiana; paternal grandfather, Cliff Carter of Springhill, Louisiana; great-grandparents, Frank and Gladys Smith, Sr. of Bastrop, Louisiana and Charles and Pattie Harrell of Collinston, Louisiana. Kagun is also survived by his aunt, Lynnzie Dildy and husband, Brady of Nashville, Arkansas; four uncles, Kenneth Smith and his wife, Ashton of Mer Rouge, Louisiana, Jim Carter and his wife, Tammy of Benton, Louisiana, Clint Carter of Springhill, Louisiana, and Kirk Carter and his wife, Tita of Fort Polk, Louisiana; great-aunts, Kim Harris and Karen Martin; numerous cousins and a host of extended family. Serving the family as pallbearers are Dalton Martin, Damon Martin, Zack Harris, Tyler Harris, Jason Aswell, and Jason Jordan. |
