Born 24, 1930 in Daviess , Mr. Cecil was the son of the late Charles Leo and Georgia Mattingly Cecil; was a farmer; member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church; enjoyed woodworking; and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. Obituary: Robert L. Bobby Cecil, of Owensboro, passed away , 19, 2008, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born 25, 1932 to the late Charlie and Georgie Mattingly Cecil in Daviess . He was a member of Immaculate Catholic Church and was the previous owner of Cecils Florist for 17 years. He retired from W. R. Grace after 36 years of service, and enjoyed his river camp, boating, and pitching horseshoes. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sr. George Ann Cecil and a brother, Bernard Cecil.
