Obituary: Rosemary E. Crow was born in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Mr. r and Helen Birdwell. She was educated in the Public School of 42 and attended and graduated from Crispus Attucks High School in 1936. She worked and managed her fathers business Birdwell Chicken Shack from 1936-1946. She was also employed for the State of Indiana for 19 years working as a Keypunch Operator. Rosemary Crow married Rueben H. Crow on 28, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Crow preceded her in death in 1983. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by her Sister; Maxine Barber, Brothers; r Birdwell Jr. and Charles Birdwell. Mrs. Crow was a very active member of Our Savior Lutheran Church for many years, where she was one of the oldest members there. Mrs. Crow volunteered her service to the Heritage Place, Walter Cancer Research, and United Methodist . Rosemary also joined The Heritage Line Dance Group in 1994, which she was very active. On May 8, 2015 she departed her life at Spring Mill Meadows , where she was much loved. Those left to cherish her memory are her Niece, E. Janeen Stewart; great nephew Pastor Derrick Carpenter Sr. (Denise); great niece Shaya Rowe (David); great great nieces Jennifer Thomas (George); Jasmine Elliott (Marcus), great great nephew Derrick Carpenter Jr., and a host of friends and church family that loved her dearly. InformationA funeral service will be held on , May 13th, 2015 at Our Savior Lutheran Church 261W. 25th Street, Indianapolis at 12:00pm, friends and family are invited to gather from 10:00am-12:00pm. |

Obituary: Phyllis Marie Hobbs Crow of Indianapolis passed away on 29, 2015. She was born 13 in Chicago, Illinois to Lloyd Hulbert and Cora Marie (Drum) Hobbs. She was an administrative assistance for Continental Sales for 40 years. Phyllis enjoyed playing bridge and belonged to several bridge clubs. She loved ballroom dancing and was a member of the Continental Dance Club. She was active in the girl scouts and PTO at School 83. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Roger) Nesbitt, Jennifer (Jerry) Buchanan, siblings Joann Long of Hampstead, NC, Lloyd Hobbs of Tulsa, OK, Barbara Pollock of Sunnyvale, CA, and Suzanne Stanley of Willington, NC. Grandchildren Rachael Nesbitt, Sian (Matt) Shilts, Haley Buchanan, Olivia Crow, Jacob Buchanan, Hannah Nesbitt, Abigayle Nesbitt, Grace Buchanan and great grandson Rafe Rogers and her dog Buddy. Phyllis is preceded in death by her husband Robert G. Crow, son Robert L. Crow and her parents. Celebration of Phylis's life will be May 2, at 7 pm at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary.
