Nathan was born Oct. 23, 1994. He had a love for all music and connected with country music most often. He had a fascination for numbers, weather, and "country drives." Nathan enjoyed playing video games, watching movies, and television. He had worked at Bona Vista. Nathan's heart was as big as the moon, and his smile shined brighter than the stars. She was the daughter of Alfred Allen Jones and Viola Warren Jones of Terre Haute, Indiana. Maxine was the last survivor of her 10 siblings. She was preceded in death (in 1974) by her husband Howard Winburn Commons, also from Terre Haute. She is survived by her children, Nancy Crandell, Rebecca Nottingham and Pamela Williams, and grandchildren, Holly Crandell, Jason Crandell, Tracy Borneman, Ashley Nottingham, Grant Williams, Erin Ramsey, and great grandchildren, Jade Ramsey, Zahra Dana and Eve Dana. Maxine was an artist, a creative seamstress and talented cook. With her daughters and her husband, a career Navy man, she lived in Japan, Hawaii, and several of the United States. She was a member of both St. Matthew Catholic Church and St. Pius Catholic Church. Martha and her husband, Jim, raised their 6 children in St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. were both actively involved in many organizations in the parishes where they were members. Obituary: Honorable Glenn D. Commons, age 63, of Dyer, IN passed away peacefully on 5, 2017 at his residence with his loving family at his side, after a long battle with prostate cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ruth (Lumsdon) Commons. He is survived by a sister Carla (Geoff) Pierle of Camby, IN, a brother John Commons of Jacksonville, FL, great friends Michael and Marcia Lock, his Court #2 family, Louie Gonzalez, Karen Nauracy and Helen Galanos and many other friends and co-workers. Magistrate-Judge Commons graduated from Earlham , Richmond, IN in 1978 and received his Juris Doctorate degree Magna cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law in 1980. He also was a graduate of the National of Family Law, Reno, NV and the Indiana Judicial . Magistrate Commons began his legal career as a Law Clerk for Judge Patrick Sullivan of the Indiana Court of Appeals. His move to Lake in 1981 led to a partnership with the Ruman, Clements & Tobin Law Firm of Hammond, IN, until his appointment as Magistrate in the Lake Superior Court, Juvenile Division, in 1990. Magistrate Commons served the children and families of Lake for over 25 years. During that time, he made many significant contributions to Juvenile Justice on both State and local levels. His Judicial Robe was retired on 31, 2016 and hangs in Juvenile Division Court #2 as a memorial to his service. He was an avid White Sox, Bears and Blackhawks fan. A private memorial service with entombment will be held at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. A celebration of life memorial will be announced at a later date. Obituary: Thomas Tom L. Commens, 67, of Evansville, passed away , 26, 2017. He was born 9, 1949, to the late Allen and Jeanette Commens. Tom served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Indiana University (Economics) and University of Evansville (Engineering). He retired from Car Quest after many years of service and was currently working at Advanced Auto Parts. Survivors include her children, Joe Comingore and his wife Judy of Bloomington, Susan Pennington of Lebanon, Mark Comingore and his wife Brenda of Bloomington, Jim Comingore and his wife Dyane of Bloomington and Carolyn Comingore of Bloomington; a daughter-in-law, Pat Comingore of Bloomington; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell Comingore; and a son, David Comingore. Mary Jane was a member of the Society of Friends, the Quaker Church.
