Obituary: Patricia Pat Clark left this life unexpectedly on , 15, 2014 at her home in the arms of her husband. She was 67 years old. She was born on 18, 1946. Pat graduated from Collinsville High School and soon after, married Thomas E Clark, Sr. She and Tommy celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on , 17th, 2014. She was a dedicated and loving friend, an exceptional caretaker and inseparable companion to her husband. Pat and Tom have two children, Thomas E Clark, Jr. (Beverly) of Caseyville, IL and Pamela D. Deneke (Robert, Jr.) of Cape Girardeau, MO. She adored her two grandchildren, Sydney and Cera Deneke of Cape Girardeau and her greatest joys were found in their eyes. She found solace and comfort sitting on the porch in the country at the home of her Aunt and Uncle, Peck and Dee West of Loundes, MO. Pat was a loyal and true friend to many, many people who also grieve her passing, including her friends at Spring Garden Restaurant. Pat made many memories throughout her lifetime; for herself and for those around her. Known as Snoopy, she was an outstanding competitive softball player for over 20 years, pitching for her husbands team, the Base Dusters. leaving ball behind, she and Tommy turned their interest to competitive country western dancing, earning many local, state and national titles and teaching numerous classes for others. Her children and grandchildren cherish years of hand sewn Halloween costumes and personalized birthday cakes. Annual handmade Christmas ornaments adorn the trees of friends and family each year. Pat meant so much to many. She is rejoining her loved ones who preceded her in death including her mother Bessie Pat Legge (nee Cookemboo), her stepfather Earl Legge, her father Rector Moore and two brothers, Gary and Danny Moore. To respect Pats wishes, no funeral or burial services will be performed. Charitable donations may be made in her name to the Caseyville VFW Post 1117 in support of the veterans of our great country or to Carol House Quick Fix Pet Clinic, a non profit animal spay and neuter clinic in St. Louis, MO. We release our wife, mother and grandmother to the care of our great Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rest in Peace. |

Obituary: BLOOMINGTON, IL - Pat M. Clark, 86, of Bloomington, passed away at 7:06 a.m. on , 8, 2011. She was born 12, 1925 in Chicago, daughter of Catherine Smith Seekman and Claremont Eaton. She married Frank E. Clark, who preceded her in death in 1981. Surviving are one daughter, Joyce (Steve) Thomas of Normal; two granddaughters, Stephanie Thomas and Angie Thomas, both of Bloomington and four great-grandchildren, Carissa Smith, Jack Schirpke, Chasyn Thomas and Clare Thomas. Pat worked as a ward clerk at OSF Saint Joseph Medical and later at K-Mart as a sales associate for many years. She enjoyed knitting, sewing and enjoyed creating crafts beloved by others. She was a volunteer for Peace Meal, and was a Volunteer of the Year recipient. Pat was very active at Phoenix Towers for the last 24 years. She was a devout Christian, and when she was able, attended Centennial Christian Church in Bloomington. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on , 12, 2011 at East Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on at East Lawn . Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society; St. Jude Midwest Affiliate or the Arthritis Foundation of McLean .
