Obituary: Mary Ann Christenson passed away 24, 2016 after a sudden illness. She was born to the late Coburn and Rose Broughton on 22,1935 in Albany, WI. Mary married the late Virgil Christenson in 1968 and lived in New Milford for the rest of her life. Family was Mary's love and delight and she knew no disability or obstacle in life for which she proved every day to all who knew her well. Mary leaves behind many caring friends and relatives. Mary enjoyed gardening, her two pugs and parrot, four letter words and laughing. She cooked a mean pot roast, played Euchre and told you the truth, she loved you, worried about you and ignored your mistakes. Mary is survived by her two children Patrick Sr. (Laura) Christenson; Christie (Jim) Grillo and sisters Klossner, Carol(Nelts) and Linda (Glen) Malkow as well as nine grandchildren, Patrick Jr., Amber, Amy, Cobrin, Nickolas, James, Brad, Matthew, Timmy; and four great-granddaughters Katie, Paityn, Hailey and Addilynn; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary is predeceased in death by her sister Susie Prien and brothers Walt and Harlan Broughton; and grandson William. "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness. Obituary: Beverly J. Christenson (nee Shields), 81, passed away peacefully at home in Libertyville, IL on 20, 2017. Born 24, 1935, Beverly grew up in Waukegan, IL, the only daughter of Willard and Lucille Shields. She was the devoted wife of Eric Christenson for 54 years and a loving mother. A lifetime resident of Lake , IL, Beverly spent many winters in Naples, Florida with Eric enjoying golf and good times with their many friends. Beverly was an avid golfer and a member of Glen Flora Country Club in Waukegan and La Playa Golf Course and La Playa Beach Club in Naples, FL for many years. She was a devoted Packers fan and enjoyed spending time with family and many friends. She will be remembered for her passion for life, her devotion to her family, her strong will and her wicked sense of humor. She made friends everywhere she went and left an impression on everyone she met. She is survived by her children, Dawn (Mike) Muratori of Island Lake, Tim (Sue) Christenson of Wadsworth, and Kelli (Nelson) Bosacoma of Northbrook; grandchildren, Ryan (Christine) Rasmussen, Tim Jr. (Kourtney) Christenson, Brandon (Kristin) Christenson, Stephanie (Tim Van Horn) Christenson, Tiffany (Ryan) Gonzalez, Lucia Bosacoma and Marco Bosacoma; 13 great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Ruth Aaron, and Barbara Courington. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Christenson. The family extends its deepest gratitude to Beverly's dedicated and loving team of caregivers who allowed her to live her final years with grace and dignity. Special thanks to Shannon Krause who Beverly loved like a daughter and to Rosa Garcia and Carmen Wright. A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. at Marsh . Interment will be in Ascension , Libertyville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. , 24, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services , at the funeral home.
