Obituary: Bloomington - Chester (Chet) Raymond Chambers III, 69 of Bloomington, passed away at 1:25 p.m. on , 23, 2015 at his residence. His Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on , 27, 2015 at Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church in Bloomington with Fr. Jeffrey J. Windy officiating. On , 26th, Rosary will be recited at 3:30 p.m. at the church with the visitation from 4-7p.m. at the church in Bloomington. Interment will be at Park Hill in Bloomington. Full Military Rites will be accorded by Bloomington-Normal American Legion Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to Recycling For Families, Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church or Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund. Kibler-Brady-Ruestman Memorial in Bloomington is assisting the family with arrangements. Chet was born on 14, 1945 in Tuscola, Illinois, a son of Chester Raymond Jr. and Helen Marie Hausmann Chambers. He married Carol Ann Chaplin on 28, 1969 in Champaign. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Jamie Ann (Joe) Christopher of Lake St. Louis, MO and Chester Raymond "Ray" (Maria) Chambers IV of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Robbie, Meghan, Nicole, Jenna and Sofia; two great grandchildren, Cameron and Kaitlyn; one brother, John (Melanie) Chambers and two sisters, Angie (Scott) Gordon and Jackie (Darren) Stenger, all of Tuscola. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, James Arthur "Jim" Huser. Chet proudly served in the United States Army in the Vietnam War, where he was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was employed in Production Engineering as a Tool and Die Maker and Cad Programmer for over 27 years at Mitsubishi Motor Manufacturing of America in Normal. Chet was a member of Historic St. Patrick Catholic Church, Patriarch of Team CRC, and a volunteer at Recycling For Families. The family would like to thank Dr. John Migas, the Community Cancer and Advocate Hospice for their kind and compassionate care of Chet.
