Obituary: Wilma Caison Tyson Chambers, 95, passed away peacefully on 11, 2017 at the Dunwoody Living in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on 4, 1921 in Bethera, South Carolina, a small community near Charleston. She graduated from Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner . Her early married years were spent in Charlottesville, Virginia where she worked at the University of Virginia Hospital. She also spent time in San Antonio, TX, Las Vegas, NV and Raleigh, NC before settling in Atlanta, GA. She was a gentle person who loved the Lord as well as traveling and sewing. She was loved by many. Mrs. Chambers is survived by her son, Rick Tyson of Roswell, Georgia and her daughter, Jeane Tyson Shiflett of Richmond, Virginia. Additionally her family includes three granddaughters as well as 3 great-granddaughters and 2 great grandsons. A memorial service will be scheduled in Moncks Corner, South Carolina at a later date. |

Obituary: William Arthur Chambers, Sr., age 81 of Fayetteville, GA passed away on 29, 2009. He was a US Army veteran that served 4 years in the Korea War. He loved farming and feeding hungry animals. He was free hearted, well known for helping others and for never asking for anything in return. He loved his family. He was a God-fearing Christian man who was very humble and who always looked for the good in everybody. He loved his grandchildren. He worked in the Drum Business until 6 weeks prior to his death. He is survived by wife Ellen Williams Chambers of 56 years; son, William (Patricia) Chambers, Jr. of Fayetteville, GA; daughters, Deborah (Phil) Bowen of Fayetteville, GA, Barbara Stanford of Brooks, GA; four grandchildren, Alex and Katie Bowen, Delilah and Madison Stanford; Brother, Neamon Chambers, Sisters, Retha Murphy of Birmingham, AL and Geneva (Doug) Woodall of Winder, GA. He is preceded in death by a brother, Clint Chambers and two sisters, Bonnie Buttrey and Clara Baccus. Services will be held in the chapel at Carmichael-Hemperley on , 31, 2009 at 2:00 pm. A visitation will be held from 12:00pm-2:00pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Park, GA. |
