Obituary: Thelma Margaret Cantrell Camp, age 86, of Toccoa, passed away , 14, 2015 at Stephens Hospital. Born May 15, 1929 in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Otto Clarence and Victoria Propes Cantrell. She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist Church in Flowery Branch, GA and was a homemaker. Her family was very important and she enjoyed singing, laughing and talking with them and with her friends. Thelma was the last member of her immediate family. Family members include her daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Roger Whitfield of Westminster, SC; her son, Joseph Camp of Westminster, SC; grandchildren, Angie Finch and Jason, Jenny Wood and Brad, and Cindi Wylie and Ben; great-grandchildren, Jaleigh Wood, Tanner Finch, Tyler Finch, Braelyn Wood, Brooke Wylie, and Eli Wylie; brother-in-law, Vernice Couch; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evelyn Couch; brother and sister-in-law, Otto Jr and Clara Mae Cantrell. Graveside services will be held at ten oclock morning, 16, 2015, at Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Barry Jordan officiating. Burial will follow. Whitlock Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. |

Obituary: Mr. Terry L. Camp, age 66 of McDonough, Georgia passed away 5, 2014. He was born in Albertville, Alabama to the late Olan Avery and Mary Ruby Fuller Camp. He was preceded in death by an infant sister and a brother, Wendell Royal. Terry served his country in the United States Army, including two tours in Vietnam. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the American Legion. Terry enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He loved music and was an avid Atlanta Falcons fan. Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Becke Camp; children, Michael (Janie) Camp of Perry, Mande (Joey) Pendley of Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Savannah Camp, Rubyann Camp, Harley Pendley and Coleman Pendley; brothers, Wayne (Tommie) Camp of Bonaire, Jimmie (Kathy) Camp of Faulkner, AL, Donald (Willogene) Camp of Bonaire and Tony Royal of Edison; several nieces and nephews. Obituary: Mr. Samuel Sam Lynn Camp, Jr., 64, of Peachtree City, GA passed away on 17, 2016. He was born on 30, 1951 to Veronica P. Phillips and the late Samuel Lynn Camp, Sr. in Rome, GA. Sam was a graduate of Baker High School and he received his MBA from Columbus . He retired as a System Network Administrator computer nerd for the AJC. He loved music, playing his drums, writing poetry, and riding motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father, and he was affectionately known as Grumpsy by his grandchildren. Obituary: Roger Allen Camp, 76, of Marietta, passed away , 19th, 2016. Roger served at Yorktown Naval Weapons Station from 1963-1965 then began his career as an aeronautical engineer with Cape Canaveral. He completed degrees from Georgia Tech and Georgia State Universities in engineering and accounting, was chief financial officer for Atlantas Motor Convoy & Allied Systems and was a professional accountant for Omnis Atlanta Civic . He was a leader in the Decatur Kiwanis, Gideons International and was a devoted Christian father. Roger was an inspiration to, and loving member of, his community. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marilyn; one brother, Donald Robert; two daughters Kimberly Dias (John) and Kristen Sleboda (Thomas); three grandchildren, Sarah, Sean and David Sleboda.
