Obituary: Patty Virginia Camp, 81, of Cartersville, Georgia, formerly of Magnolia, Arkansas died 9, 2016 at Tranquility Senior Living in Cartersville, Georgia. She was born May 27, 1934 in Magnolia, Arkansas to the late Frank and Mabel Hickman. Patty was a retired Registered Nurse, spending most her career working for the late Dr. Charles Kelly of Magnolia. She was a member of the Oakland Heights Baptist Church in Cartersville and a former member for 36 years of Central Baptist Church in Magnolia. She is preceded in death by her husband Sebren (Jack) Camp, parents, and sister Linda Dennis. Patty is survived by three sons, Jeff Camp and wife Devona of Winfield, Illinois; Joe Camp and wife Catherine of Cartersville, Georgia; Eric Camp and husband Michael Hastings of Little Rock, Arkansas; and daughter, Pam Hilley and husband Paul of Cartersville, Georgia; three sisters, Ruth Hunt of Henderson, Texas; Sue Kimbell and Diane Issacs of Camden, Arkansas; and one brother, James Hickman and wife Sue of Comanche, Texas, nine grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Visitation will be , 13, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at the Lewis of Magnolia. services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on , 14, 2016 at the Central Baptist Church Chapel with Brother Steve Ford officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park under the direction of Lewis , Inc. of Magnolia. Pallbearers will be James Dees, James Madden, Bud Horne, Tommy Daily, David Hill, and Wayne Morrison. Born 30, 1925 in Stephens , she was a daughter of the late Oris Converse and Ruth Vickery Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dan Camp; her son-in-law, J. Jerry Whitlock; and her brother, Howard Bailey. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, the Dorcus School Class and was a homemaker. Nannie loved her Jesus and her family. She enjoyed cooking and having her family gathered around the table together. Flowers and chocolate were also at the top of her list of favorite things. She believed in the power of prayer, reading her Bible, and living everyday trusting in God. A husband, father, son, Marine, and Tae Kwon Do black belt, Mark was truly a renaissance man who greatly contributed to his community. Major Mark Camp of the Cartersville Police Department served as an Archbishop with a Doctorate in Theology. Outside of work he enjoyed spending time with his family, learning to play guitar, and communicating with others around the world via Ham Radio with the call sign K4COP. Obituary: Marian LeAnn Hardy Camp Mrs. LeAnn Camp of Lexington Georgia, loving wife and mother passed away , 24, 2010 surrounded by her family. She was born in Atlanta Georgia 6, 1952 to the late Edwin Thomas Hardy and Mrs. Ann Castille Hardy of Forest Park, GA. She was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Thomas Hardy and a brother Edwin Thomas Chip Hardy Jr. She married Steven Arthur Camp on 6, 1972. Together they raised four children and are grandparents to 11 grandchildren. She spent her life taking care of her home and family. She was also known as a great friend to many. She was of the Baptist Faith. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, Steven A. Camp; daughter and son in law, Stacy and Lance Brown and their children, Seth, Laura and Kyndall; daughter and son in law, Jana and Chip Walker and their children, Michaela, Brad, Emma, Steven; son and daughter in law, Jason and Denise Camp and their children, Anna, Haley, Shawn; son and daughter in law, Wade and Wendi Camp and their children, Logan and Rylee (due in ). Mother, Ann Hardy; sister, Denise Gregory; brothers Jeffrey Hardy and Matthew Hardy.
