Obituary: A Celebration honoring the life of Mr. Royce W. Dub Coshatt will be held , 3, 2010 at 11 am at Collier-Butler Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 this evening at the funeral home. Mr. Coshatt passed away on May 31, 2010 after an extended illness. Rev. Robert Bob Thornton and the Rev. James Blair will officiate. Services entrusted to the care of Collier- Butler and Cremation Services. Burial at Rainbow Memorial Gardens. Mr. Coshatt was born in Leeds Alabama 1, 1924 and resided in Rainbow City. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the European Campaign and the U.S. Army Air Corp, Panama Canal zone 1944-1948. He retired from Alabama Power in 1986 with 32 years of service. He and his wife enjoyed traveling extensively. Since 1997, Mr. Coshatt was an active speaker about the American Flag (Old Glory). He made his interactive presentation to over 400 schools, churches, brotherhoods and civic groups giving attendees the opportunity to look at his collection of American Flags. Mr. Coshatt has been honored by the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and by the Sons of the American Revolution for excellence in community services. Mr. Coshatt was instrumental in the erection of flagpoles that fly with church, state and national flag at Southside Baptist Church. Because of his respect for and care of the United States flag, he was given the Flag Display award of the Etowah Chapter of the ASSAR in 2006. Mr. Coshatt was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elzie Coshatt, brothers, Joe Coshatt, Clayton Coshatt, Ed Coshatt, Ralph Coshatt and sister Louise Coshatt. Mr. Coshatt is leaving behind to cherish his memory his wife of 58 years, Bobbie Sotherland Coshatt, Daughters, Nan (Eddie)Hedgspeth, Anji (Tommy) Perrymon, and Son, David(Donna) Coshatt, grandchildren, Kendall and Haydyn Hedgspeth, John and Jake Coshatt, Megan (Scott) Sasser, great grandson Caden Scott Sasser, brother, Ray (Jean) Coshatt U.S. Army Ret. Pallbearers will be grandsons, nephews and close friends. Obituary: Marilyn Mary Bauerschlag Coshatt passed away at home on 11, 2015 at the age of 88. She was born on 6,1926 in New Braunfels, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Zynaida and Egon Bauerschlag and daughter Jan Marie Coshatt. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Clyde Coshatt, Children: Duane (Mae) Coshatt and Lisa (Jim) Hooker; two grandchildren: Fran (Jeff) Chaiprakob and Alan (Debbie) Coshatt; four great grandchildren: Reese, Edy, Kate and Andrew; sister Alleen Beurshausen and nieces and nephews. She loved her twenty years with Meals on Wheels and twenty years teaching School to 4 year olds at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church. Special thanks to her caregivers from New Beacon Hospice, Vickey Allum and Karen Keel and from Instead Bethany Fluker. Visitation will be at Dawson Baptist Church in wood from 2 to 3 pm on , 13, 2015 with a memorial service at 3 pm. Obituary: Henry Lewis Coshatt of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on 26, 2015. He was born in Acmar, Alabama on 1, 1933. He was 82 years old. He is survived by his wife Patricia Honeycutt Coshatt. were married on May 23, 1953 and remained happily married for 62 years. are members of Mountain Brook Baptist Church. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 1951 and attended classes at the University of Alabama. He began his career as an employee of McKesson and Robbins Pharmaceuticals and later opened his own very successful business, H. L. Coshatt Co., Inc. several decades of being the CEO of his company, he sold the business and founded Design Consultants which kept him involved in the operations of his original company until his death. He was very proud of his business success and was known for his fairness and graciousness to all of his employees. Henry Coshatt was an avid sports fan, especially of Alabama football, and a dedicated golfer. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Single Digits Golf Club at Greystone Golf and Country Club in 2013 where he spent much of his recreational time. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Agnes Coshatt, and his father, George Elgin Coshatt, and his grandson, Daniel Lamar Willingham. He is survived by his three children, Cynthia Coshatt Willingham, Brian Keith Coshatt and his wife Veronika Coshatt, and Pamela Coshatt Wright and her husband Dr. John Wright. He has five surviving grandchildren, Mary Alana Willingham, John W. Wright III, Lindsey Ann Wright, Mirabella Ilyana Coshatt and Seraphina Elsa Coshatt. His surviving brother-in-law is Maurice E. Honeycutt. A memorial service will be held on , 30, 2015 at Mountain Brook Baptist Church at 11:00 am. A reception will follow the service in the church parlor. She and her husband Joe Coshatt raised their 3 sons in Cahaba Heights where she was a member of Cahaba Heights Baptist Church. In 1964, Joe and Ella started Coshatt Sod Farm. Mrs. Coshatt is preceded in death by her husband Joe Coshatt and 2 of her sons Van and Darrell Coshatt.
