Obituary: CORBIN, MARK RANDALL, age 51, of Birmingham, passed away in an automobile accident , 5, 2011. He was preceded in death by his father, Harley Cecil Corbin; brother, Wayne Freeman; and niece, Marla Pierce. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Katy Wall Corbin; mother, Varina Rogers Corbin; sister, Brenda Mann; brothers, Alan Corbin and Stephen Corbin; niece, Lana Vedell; nephew, Gary Pierce; mother and father-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. R. Stephen Wall; brother-in-law, Arthur Wall; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Mark graduated from Huffman High School and received a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering from Auburn University. He was a member of Mountain Brook Community Church, 12 year member of Birmingham Night Mens Community Bible Study, and employed by Vision Research Co. His family will receive friends on , 8, 2011 at Mountain Brook Community Church from 12-2 PM with the service beginning at 2 PM with Rev. Tim Kallam officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. |

Obituary: service for Marcia Ellen Corbett, age 57, will be 11 a.m. , Sept. 24 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel with the Rev. Bill Pruitt and the Rev. Edward Green officiating. Burial will be at Wilsonville . Ms. Corbett died Sept. 21, 2010 at Shelby Baptist Medical . She was a member of Mountainview Baptist Church. She was a nurse and computer support technician and was involved in many activities. Survivors are her mother, Verna Agostinello of Childersburg; stepfather, Jerry Agostinello of Childersburg; father, Clyde Fancher Jr. of Overton, Nev.; brother, Howard H. Fancher and wife Cathy of Enterprise; nephew, Samuel H. Fancher of Enterprise; niece, Regina Catherine Fancher Cotton and husband Paul of Savannah, Ga.; and numerous cousins. Visitation will be 5:30-8 p.m. , Sept. 23 at Curtis and Son Childersburg Chapel. Pallbearers will be Sam Fancher, Mark Hobbs, Brent Hobbs, John Osbourn, Cord Hobbs, Norman Parson, Keith Hobbs, Daryl Farmer, Micah Hobbs, and Luke Hobbs.
