Obituary: Theodore F. Boczkowski, age 91 of Fort Myers, FL passed away on 25, 2015. Ted was born on 16, 1923 in Norwich, Connecticut to his parents George and Stella (Lipinsky) Boczkowski. He graduated from Stafford Springs High School in 1941 and lived in Stafford Springs, CT until 1955. He was employed with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft until he was called up to serve with the US Army in of 1943. He was sent overseas to ETO (European Theater Operations) in of 1943. While attached to US 3rd Army Ted participated in the Normandy Invasion, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe Campaigns. He was discharged honorably in 1946 as Staff Sergeant. his term with the Army, Ted returned to work with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft and then Kamen Helicopters. In 1959 Ted moved to Southern California and was employed by Douglas Aircraft and then moved to Redding, California where he worked as a United States Postal Service worker until his retirement in 1983. Ted moved to Rochester, NH in 2005 after his life partner, Ruby Marx passed away in 2004 after a 40 year relationship. Ted loved the excellent hunting and fishing in Northern California and traveled extensively after retirement on the West Coast from Mexico to Alaska. Ted belonged to the Rochester, NH Elks Lodge 1393 and was a life member of the American Legion Post 7. Ted is survived by two nephews and their families, Lee R. Chasse and wife Elizabeth of Fort Myers, FL and Paul G. Chasse and his wife Catherine of Canton, CT. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Zygmont Boczkowski, sister Sophie (Boczkowski) Chasse and her husband Paule, sister Wanda Boczkowski and longtime lady friend and love Ruby Marx of Redding, CA. Obituary: BOCOCK, Rena Laura (Davis) 92, died peacefully Oct. 18, 2015, at home in Tampa. Rena was born 8, 1923, Dubois, Clark, ID to parents, John Walker Davis and Rena Manila (Howell) Davis. Rena is the widow of Co1. Dale G. Bocock (1920-1999). married on Mar 13,1943 and celebrated 56 years together. She is survived by her five children: John D Bocock and wife, Agnes,Rena M (Bocock) Donze, Susan M (Bocock) and husband, Jack Ryals, Stephen A Bocock and wife, Annette, Janet L (Bocock) and husband, Bruce Durst; grandchildren: Dain Donze, Tyler Ryals, Carina (Bocock) Cardillo, and Leslie Ryals, as well as five great-grandchildren. Renas first job was installing flight suit heaters in B-17s in California. She loved to dance and that is how she met her husband, Dale. taught all their five children to dance and it was great fun. She was an avid reader and a grand master bridge player. Rena volunteered at MacDill AFB Hospital for ten years. In the retirement years, Laura and Dale traveled to see the World. In the US, Laura and Dale purchased a motorhome and traveled to see America and family. All of her family will miss her greatly.
