Obituary: Charles Buford Beard, 81, of Columbiana, AL passed away , 15, 2014, after a rapid battle with Bulbar ALS. He was a 20 year veteran of the US navy as an Air Traffic Controller. He later worked for the FAA and DOD for another 20+ years. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Willie Beard, brother, Doyce Beard and daughter, Deborah Beard. Charles is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverly; son, Doug (Cindy); daughter, Diane (Bo); grandchildren CJ Beard, Joshua (Jen) Beard, Shelby (Mark) Bookout, Ashleigh (Phillip) Floyd, Katie Kalbach and Laurel Clarke; great grandchildren; Jayden Beard; Bella, Lily and Delilah Bookout; Haleigh, Evan and Aubreigh Floyd; Cameron Simmons and Baylen Bjorklund; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family. services will be held at 11:30 a.m., , 19, 2014 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Obituary: Arthur Grady "Grade A" Beard, age 91, of Tallahassee passed away at Big Bend Hospice House on , 12, 2014. He was born in Walton , Florida on 29, 1923 to Chester Lynn Beard and Arminda Brown Beard. Grady was a World War II Navy Veteran and a retired Postal worker.He loved working in his garden and fishing until he was no longer able. "Grade A" was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Amber Lee. He is survived by three sons, Marvin (Sandy) Beard, Gary (Ann) Beard, Dale Beard and fiancee Debra Cunningham; one daughter, Gail (Paul) Davis; and four stepchildren, Danna ( y) Scott, Fred Creel, Alice (James) Cummings, and Lynelle (Nena) Prior; numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren; and one special "adopted" son, Tony Hood. Visitation will be morning, 16, at 10:00 AM at Culley's MeadowWood on Riggins Road with the funeral service starting at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. |

Obituary: Bear, Rodriguez, Villadonga, Mary 100, passed away at home on 4, 2015. Mary was born in Santa Fe, Argentina and arrived in Tampa with her parents and siblings in 1921. She lived in Florida for the rest of her life. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Florencio Rodriguez and Lt. Col. Charles E. Bear, also her brother Ramon Villadonga Jr. and sister Dorinda Gonzalez. Mary and her first husband, Florencio Rodriguez owned Rex Feed Co. in Tampa from 1945 to 1970. She moved to Holmes Beach, Anna Maria Island in 1984 and resided there until 2004 when she moved to Valrico, FL. Mary is survived by her son, Rex Rodriguez and wife Mirta of Tampa, her daughter, Leah Pollock and husband George of Valrico, step son Charles E. Bear of Jacksonville, step daughter Betty Bear Phd. of Charleston, SC., grandchildren George Pollock Jr. and wife Jane of Lithia, FL, Greg Pollock of Temple Terrace, FI, Glen Pollock DVM, MD and wife Jennifer of Raleigh, NC, Ian Rodriguez Phd of Port St.Lucie, FL, Erik Rodriguez and wife Jaime of Basin, MT, Athena Rodriguez and husband Marshall Hurd of Boston, MA., also step granddaughters, Donna Hull and Andrea Bear of Jacksonville, FI, step grandson Gianmarco, great grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Helen Pollock and Alexandria Hurd. In addition she is survived by her dearly loved nieces and nephews and their families, Lorena Backus, Nilda Martin, Carmen Gonzalez, Roy Gonzalez, Ray Villadonga, and Armando Roche. As our matriarch, mother, Abuelita, mother-in-law and aunt, she will be remembered for her unconditional love and lifelong devotion to her family. Loved and admired by those who were blessed to know her, she was a wonderful example of a life well lived. We will miss her for the rest of our lives. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the The Children's of Tampa, 10909 Memorial Hwy, Tampa,FL 33615. Services will be held 7 at Garden of Memories 4207 E lake Ave., Tampa, FI with visitation from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The funeral procession will leave at 3:00pm for the Centro Espanol 4601 E lake Ave., Tampa, FI. |
