Obituary: Waudine Barton Boyles (Bowman) passed to her Everlasting Heavenly Reward on , May 15, 2010, after a short stay at Northeast Florida Community Hospice in Jacksonville, Florida. Waudine would not want us to be sad for her, but Rejoice, she is at Peace and Whole again. A celebration of her fantastic life will be held on , May 22, 2010, at Wright & Ferguson High Street Chapel at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held for family and friends at 9:30 AM until time of service. Her burial will follow at Cedar Lawn at 2434 West Capital Street. She was born on 1, 1920 in Kosciusko, MS to Vallie and S.R. Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by all of her siblings, Naomi, Guy, Ozetta, Inez, Cecil, Paul and nephew Mike. She also lost the love of her life, Leroy Boyles after 37 years of marriage in 1975. Her working career span almost five decades from Internal Revenue, private bookkeeper, church secretary , school clerk and she retired from the Jackson Public Schools in 1989 as a secretary to the Assistant Superintendent. Even though she liked her work, she truly loved her volunteer services. She taught school almost her entire adult life. She taught any age level wherever she was needed. She was active in Girl Scouts, but especially PTA. She served locally, city-wide, state level in many positions. While working with the school system she became active in the Association of Educational Secretaries, serving both county and state offices. She was cochairman of Hinds Mental Association. She was a volunteer hostess at the Governors Mansion. She attended by invitation the inauguration of President Jimmy Carter. She served on the Presidents Council to Hinds Junior . One thing that brought her great joy was singing in church choirs wherever she attended. She had a beautiful voice. She was singing hymns a few days before her passing. She will be greatly missed by her family, including her only child, Nancy Boyles Goodchild and her husband, Pete Goodchild; her grandchildren, Peter, Kelly, Sanna, Johnnie, Beth and Chris; her great grandchildren Kylie, Ashley, Blake, Emily, Melody and soon to be born Nicholas. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Betty, Ray, Bill, Chris, Connie, Ron, Chippie, John, Betty and Ken. Friends like family, Carmen and Harold Chapman, Big Sandy, Texas. Obituary: William Earl Barton, age 86 of Loxahatchee, Florida passed away on , 24, 2011. He was born on 23, 1924 to the late Mr. Loren Earl Barton and the late Clarice (nee Parson) Barton in Elwood, Indiana. He was a Metorologist for the Eastern Airlines for many years prior to retirement. William loved his family and good friends and shared his wealth of knowledge with those who knew and loved him. God needed another bright Star to adore the Sky above and his light will forever shine on all of us. Survivors include his loving wife, Ruth R. Barton, his son, Dan (Becky) Barton, his daughter, and grandchildren and great grandchildren. A Private family gathering will take place to Honor the Memories of William at a later date.
