Obituary: TERESA BARNETT Early on the morning of 25, 2015, at the age of 57, our dear Teresa was called home to be with our Lord. She was born in Pensacola, spent her early years splashing around Innerarity Point then moved to the country in Molino where she lived until she graduated from Tate High School in 1976. Teresa brought joy and beauty to the special occasions of many in the Pensacola area through the beautiful cakes she decorated during her 32 year career at Albertsons as a cake decorator and bakery manager. She was constantly finding ways to simply make others happy and will be remembered for all her kind gestures, large and small, and her thoughtfulness. Family and friends were extremely important to her and we will never forget her generous and caring heart. Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruby Woods, three sisters, Margaret Woods, Helen Miller and Cathy Wild, and her brother-in-laws Roy Wild and Rip Pollock. She is survived by four sisters, Connie Pollock, Pat Beaver, Carlette Woods, and Kim Kulig, brother, Carl Woods, and brother-in-laws Arthur Beaver and Dan Miller. Teresa was blessed to share her life with her beautiful daughter Ashley Anne, son-in-law David (aka DJ) Meloy, their precious daughter Penelope Rose and David Fabbiani whom she loved as a son. Teresa was also blessed to have her nieces, nephews and their wonderful children whom she loved with all of her heart Charlie Brahier (Leah), Clint Beaver, Tiffany Cayton (Patrick), Bobby Miller, Tracie Miller (Jered Smith), and Ryan Miller (Brittany), Tina, Matthew, and Timmy Beaver, Evan and Ella McNally, Bryan Miller, and Brayley Cayton. James Fuller and Wanda Strickland were very special friends which she too considered family. Visitation will be held , 30, from 5-8pm at Eastern Gate Memorial , 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola. service will be , 31 at 12:00pm also at Eastern Gate. Pall bearers are Charlie Brahier, Clint Beaver, Patrick Cayton, Jered Smith, Ryan Miller, David Fabbiani, Bruce Wallace, and Justin Fuller. Graveside service will follow at Rock in Robertsdale, Alabama. Obituary: T. Mark Barnett, 61, of Bradenton, passed away Nov. 23, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol Connar Barnett. Born 10, 1953, in Canton, OH, he was a son of the late Richard Lee Barnett, and is survived by his mother, Naomi Bennett Barnett, of Zanesville, OH. He was a member of the 53rd Ave Church of Christ, and was a dedicated classic country music guitarist. Survivors also include two daughters, Kristal Saunders, of Sarasota, and Amanda Barnett-McLean (Scott), of Nashville, TN; his brother, Daniel Barnett, of North Port, FL; and a granddaughter, Harmony McLean. A remembrance service will be conducted at 10:00 am on Nov. 28, 2014, at the 53rd Ave Church of Christ, with Lon Schindler and Rodney Myers officiating. In lieu of flowers, Mark requested donations to the new church sign fund at 53rd Ave Church of Christ. Manasota is assisting the family. Obituary: Rosey W. Barnett, 94, passed away on 17, 2017 at Good Samaritan with her girls by her side. Rosey was born on 9, 1923 to her loving parents, William and Agnes Matchniff and was nicknamed Luba, which means Love in Russian. . Rosey married her handsome sailor, Billy F. Barnett, and they raised their family in Crossett, Arkansas, where they worked side by side in various businesses. Rosey and Bill retired to Perdido Key, Alabama. Following the death of Bill, Rosey moved to the Daytona Beach area, where she was a member of White Chapel Church of God and volunteered with the Thrift Shop Ministry. Rosey enjoyed sewing, playing cards and cherished time with her family. Rosey is preceded in death by her parents and siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Carol (Melvin) Robinson of Daytona Beach and Patti (Clay) Caire of Tampa; one granddaughter Melissa (Rob) Ayers of Port Orange and two great grandchildren, Tyler and Lacey Ayers. The family is forever grateful for the support and care from the nursing staff of Good Samaritan and Halifax Hospice, who provided excellent loving care in her final years. Rosey was known for her servants heart. She would jump in and offer to hem or alter clothing for friends. She was always the last to take a spot at the table, as she wanted to make sure everyone had what they needed. Her servants heart has been passed on in her family and this verse sums up her life, God, please help my children to develop servants hearts, that they may serve wholeheartedly, as if they were serving the Lord, not men. (Eph. 6:7) The family will have a private memorial at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Warner Christian Academy or Halifax Hospice of Volusia/Flagler. |
