Obituary: Elmer Ellsworth Badger, 88, of Ocoee, FL and Havana, FL passed away , 5, 2014. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on , 10th at Beulah in Winter Garden, FL. Elmer was born 18, 1926, to Julia White Badger and Byron Badger amidst the orange groves of central Florida. He was raised by a family of citrus-growers in Ocoee, FL and learned at an early age to love growing plants of any kind, but especially oranges. He attended Ocoee School for 12 years before proudly serving during World War II in the Army Air Force. service he got both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in education at his beloved University of Florida in Gainesville (Go Gators!), and then returned to Ocoee School where he taught vocational agriculture for 30 years. He is so proud of his many years of teaching boys how to grow things that he has asked to have “Dirt Teacher” engraved on his tombstone. One of the loves of his life was his wife of 66 years, Lois Evelyn Rayborn Badger, whom he met at the Coliseum Skating Rink in Orlando and married in 1948. Elmer and Lois spent many happy days gambling in Biloxi, cruising the seas, and vacationing on Sanibel Island and Marco Island. Another love was the Florida Gators. Two weeks before he died Elmer drove to a jewelry store to have his University of Florida graduation ring downsized. He had lost so much weight in his final months of life that it would no longer stay on his finger. He wanted to wear his Gator ring to the end. A third love was growing citrus. Even though he had moved in 2009 to Havana, FL where his daughter lived, he decided at the age of 85 to plant a citrus grove with over 50 trees. He grew the rootstock from seed, budded the seedlings, planted them and then tended the grove until a few months before his death. So far the young trees have survived the cold Havana winters. Elmer was a member of Beulah Baptist Church in Winter Garden for over 60 years, and will be buried next to his mother, his Uncle Milford White and Aunt Rosie White in the peaceful, shady Beulah Baptist next to a serene lake. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lois Badger; his daughters Lynn Badger of Havana, FL and Julie Lee of Destin, FL; and grandchildren Bryce Hatley and Brette Hatley of central Florida. |

Obituary: Lucy "Nana" Baderian (Macaluso) passed away peacefully on 6, 2015 at the age of 94. God called her to a better place and reunited her with her 2 children and husband. Standing at only 4'7, she always found a way to beat the odds, living through the great depression, surviving breast cancer, and a multitude of surgeries including two hip replacements. The only reason she left this earth was because she was ready to go. She was the most stubborn (her way or the highway/never take no for an answer), particular, and at the same time most kind-hearted person always thinking of others above herself. Her epic/hilarious stories, guidance, and the example she lead will always live on in the people she has touched. Lucy is survived by her her grandchildren, Jillian Birnstihl of Orlando, FL; Jennie Go of San Francisco, CA; Jacob Denmark of Sorrento, FL; her brother, Salvatore Macaluso of Baldwin, NY; and her sister Rose Collins of CT. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her daughter Elaine, her son Stephan; and 4 of her siblings. Obituary: BADER, William C. "Bill" William C. "Bill" Bader, 75, of West Palm Beach, passed away , 30, 2015. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and lived in West Palm Beach for many years. Bill was President and Coach for Phipps Park Kid's Baseball for several years, he was a member of the PTA (Parent Teachers Association) and served on the state PTA Board for two years. Bill worked for Southern Bell and later for AT & T before opening his own business B & B Graphics in 1989. Bluegrass music was his passion, he loved to attend Bluegrass festivals and jams. He made friends everywhere, and never forgot a name. He loved meeting new people and calling them his friends, he never met a stranger. Bill is survived by his wife Fay Bader, and son William J. Obituary: Lorraine Parris Bader, 81, died 15, 2014 in New Port Richey, Fl and formerly of West Seneca, NY. Mrs. Bader was born on 10, 1932 in Buffalo, NY. She was the oldest of 3 children. She attended Masten High School in Buffalo and in 1950 she married the love of her life Robert Bader, sharing an anniversary of 63 years together. She worked 41 years since 1953 as an inspector at Trico Products until her retirement in 1994. She is survived by her husband Robert, 4 children: Gail (John Spiegel) Bader, of Hamburg, NY; Debbie (William) Beeny of Trinity, Fl; Glenn (Carol) Bader of Elma, NY and Renee (Michael) Barrett of West Seneca, Ny; 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
