Obituary: Lupe S. Barrientes, 73, of Gilbert passed away 18, 2014. Lupe was born in Gilbert, Arizona on 26, 1940, the son of Juan and Francisca (Silvas) Barrientes. Lupe is survived by his wife, Delia Barrientes; daughter, Lora Ann Layne; sons, Lupe G. Barrientes (Shirley) and Lonnie Barrientes (Michel); step sons, Roberto Encinas (Eunice) and Ignacio Encinas (Lupita); grandchildren, Brittany Barrientes, Lauren Layne, Tiffany Barrientes, Amber Brown, Staci Aldrette, and Matthew Barrientes; step grandchildren, Ulysses Encinas, Nicholas Encinas, and Santiago Encinas; great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Brenden, Rose-Anna, Skyelar, Bradley, Kailey, and Brandi; siblings; Robert (Linda), Cecilia, Ernie, Dolly, and Romie. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Rosie Barrientes; and brothers, Juan Jose and Frank. A visitation for Lupe will be held on , 24, from 7:00pm-9:00pm at Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park and , 6747 East Broadway Road, Mesa, Arizona 85206. Services will be held on , 25 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1150 West Elliot Road, Gilbert, Arizona 85233, with a viewing from 10:30-11:00am.
