Obituary: Ruth Mae Burkholder was born in Colorado Springs to Paul Raymond Cummings and Coy Labelle (Speak) Cummings. She was raised on a farm in the Falcon, Colorado area going to Granger Elementary School and graduated from Falcon High School. Ruth enjoyed playing the piano, organ and violin. She married Billy C. Page in 1940 where they lived on a dairy farm. She and her husband helped build the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ellicott. She enjoyed sewing for her three daughters and drove a school bus for Ellicott Consolidated School until they moved to Colorado Springs in 1959. She was known for the beautiful drapes and curtains that she handmade. their family was gone they traveled with their Airstream trailer. Ruth dedicated her life to Jesus Christ at the Southgate Church of the Nazarene and later attended Colorado Springs First Church of the Nazarene. During this part of her life she did a lot of crocheting of afghans for her friends and family. In 1983 they moved to Greeley, to be closer to their daughter, as Billy became ill and passed away. She was an active member of Greeley First Church of Nazarene. Ruth married Victor Kindsfater in 1990 and enjoyed her new family. were married 10 happy years before his passing, and then she married George Ray Burkholder in 2001. She also enjoyed another new family and their 13 years together. traveled in their motor home and enjoyed fishing and board games. She always enjoyed Gods beautiful creation, flowers and mountains especially, but most of all enjoyed being with her family. Mrs. Burkholder passed away , 15, 2014 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. She is survived by her husband Ray Burkholder, daughters Leona and husband Dan Smith and Lois and husband Wally Marshall; five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; Lori, Jeff, Emilee, Anna and Abby Doud of Tillimook, Oregon; Vikki, Kenny, Madison and Alivia Clays of Medford, Oregon; Lonnie, Julie, Madeleine, Olivia, and Sophia Marshall from Kalona, Iowa; Dave, Kim, Caitlyn, Conner and Cooper Stevenson of Shelbyville, Missouri; Travis, Kim, Mackenna, Kate and Bailey Marshall of St. Louis, Missouri; a sister Eleanor McClelland of Colorado Springs, Colorado and three nephews and family. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband Billy Page; husband Victor Kindsfater and daughter Linda Carlene. Visitation will be held from 10:00a.m. - 11:00 a.m. , 21 followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. both at Greeley First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will take place 2:30 p.m. , 23, at Evergreen , Colorado Springs, Colorado. Obituary: Robert Bob Burkholder, 83, of Greeley, passed away 25, 2015 at Hospice of Northern Colorado. Bob was born May 3, 1932 in Archbold, Ohio to Orlen and Marie (Schmid) Burkholder. He was raised and educated in Archbold, where he graduated high school. Bob joined the U.S. Navy in 1950 and was discharged in 1954. Bob married Florence Wachtman 15, 1958 in Toledo, Ohio. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church. He was also a member of Adamson-Warmuth Post 6624, VFW, Evans. Bob worked various jobs until moving to Colorado in 1969. Bob and Florence settled in Aurora and then to Greeley in 2001 where he retired. He worked at the Bulk Mail in Commerce, City. Bob loved his family and adored his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting. He could fix anything. Bob loved his flower and vegetable gardens. He also enjoyed to collected antiques. Bob is survived by his wife Florence; two daughters Beth (Terry) Cassara of Centennial and Amy Burkholder-Pardo of Greeley; two sons Bill (Audrey) Burkholder of Aurora and John (Pam) Burkholder of Arvada; two sisters Rita (Darwin) Beck of Napoleon, Ohio and Deanne (Harlan) Gerken of Archbold, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Donald Burkholder. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., , 29, 2015 at Stoddard . Recitation of the Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m., , 30, 2015 at St. Peters Catholic Church followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.
