Obituary: David George Binder, born 12/11/1956 in Harvey, IL to loving parents George and Shirley Binder. Died 11/6/2014 in Golden, CO from complications due to multiple seizures through the years. Dave was stubborn, hard nosed, but had a big heart and loved his family dearly, especially his daughter Aspen and step daughter Ariel. Married to Carliss Binder in 1990, later divorced, but out of that union came his daughters, who were the joy of his life. He was a teacher his whole career, attesting to his love of being around kids, whether they were his own or just passing through. Dave loved softball, racquetball, and playing poker with the boys. He also loved Sci fi, a good western, 70's classic rock and eating peanut butter. His crazy sandwich combinations are legend. Dave was preceded in death by his mother Shirley and four grandparents who he loved very much. He is survived by his daughters, Carliss, father George(Shirley), brothers Jeffrey(Linda), Steven(Claire), sister Janet(Christina), Uncle Bob(Judy) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial service to be held at 4:00PM on 29th at Hillside Community Church, 103 N. Ford Street, Golden, CO. Please dress casually, and bring your favorite memories/photo's of Dave to share. |
