Obituary: Opal Maxine Beck was born on 20, 1922, to Tom Van Diest and Jenny Boeve, on a farm outside of Prairie View, Kansas. She was the fourth of their five children. She grew into a bright, imaginative child who enjoyed playing with the cats on her parents farm (and giving them rides in her doll carriage!). growing up in Prairie View she went on to attend Hayes State in Kansas, and later became an elementary school teacher who was much beloved by her students. She married her husband, Kenneth Beck, in Denver, Colorado in 1943. had three children: Shirley Nosler, Elaine Wahlquist, and Thomas Beck. Opal died peacefully at the age of 93, in her daughter Shirleys home, on 16, 2015. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth, her sister Jeanette, and her brothers Roy and Wilbur. She is survived by her brother Tom, her three children, her daughter-in-law Susan Beck, her sons-in-law Max Wahlquist and Mike Nosler, and her two grandchildren Lauren Wahlquist and Stephen Beck. No mother, grandmother, sister, or friend was ever more loved than Opal! She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Obituary: Michael Roy Beck Rattler was born on 11, 1949 at Mare Island, U.S. Naval Hospital in Vallejo, California. He passed away on 1, 2016 at his home in Sanderson, Tx He is survived by his Father Richard P. Beck Sr, His daughter Shawn Johnson, His brothers Richard P. Beck Jr Diana and Robert D. Beck Marybeth And his sisters Judy C. Beck Deanna and Linda M. Rohwein John His grandson's Michael Johnson, Patrick Calderon, and a Granddaughter Janna Johnson. He was also survived by his step sisters Michelle Parker Mark and Beth Donovan Scott and Kandace Soiland. Michael was preceded in death by Our Mother Shirley M. Beck, Our Step Mother Georgia L. Beck and step brother Jim Soiland. Mike was a corpsman in the U.S. Navy. He served in Viet Nam and other places around the world. Mike worked at Coors Brewing Co. And was a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician at the Arvada Fire Department. He retired from Coors bought a Harley and moved to Texas.......Mike was very passionate about his beliefs and his love for this Country. We will miss you dearly, until we meet again... Memorial service , 21, 2016, 12pm, in the Chapel of Peace located at Olinger Crown Hill Mortuary, 7777 W. 29th Ave., Wheat Ridge, Colorado 80033. He will be laid to rest at Ft.
