Obituary: service for Mrs. Nancy R. Bundrum, 73, will be 3 p.m. , 3, 2015, at Gray Brown- Service Mortuary with the Rev. Rick Nabors and the Rev. Richard Gasser. Burial will follow at Hillcrest in Jacksonville. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time. Mrs. Bundrum passed away evening at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Dallas "Buck" Bundrum; daughters, Sabrina Usrey (Frog), of Anniston, Brandy Heindl (Rodney), of Alexandria and Kelly Barnes (Jeff), of Albertville; sons, Scott Bundrum (Kathy), of Alexandria and Craig Bundrum (Rhonda), of Riverside; sisters, Louise Martin, Mary Nelson (Phil), Martha Lindsey (Wendel) and Margaret Johanson (Joe); brother, John Martin (Evon); sister-in-law, Laura Martin; grandchildren, Chad Usrey, Jarrod Bundrum, Colton Bundrum, Chase Heindl, Shelby Bundrum, Madison Heindl and Logan Bundrum; great-grandchildren, Rubie Usrey, Roxie Usery and Weiss Bundrum and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Bundrum is preceded in death by her parents, Burton "BC" and Lillie Mae Martin; brothers, Paul, James, Fred and Jack Martin. Pallbearers will be, Chad Usrey, Jarrod Bundrum, Colton Bundrum, Chase Heindl, Logan Bundrum and Jeff Barnes. Mrs. Bundrum was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved being surrounded by family and friends. She will be truly missed by everyone. Obituary: Mr. Robert Eugene Bunch, Sr., age 78, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on , May 20, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Buford R. and Velma T. Bunch and brother, Henry Bunch. Mr. Bunch was a Purchasing Agent with International Paper , retiring after 40 years of service. He was past President of the Mobile Purchasing Agents Association, a member of the Past Time Cruisers Car Club, and an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast. He was a member of Montrose Baptist Church and attended Christ United Methodist Church. Mr. Bunch is survived by his wife of 55 years, Annette Green Bunch, children, Robert E. Bunch, Jr., and Michelle Bunch Bentley (David). He is also survived by his sisters, Cathy Lofton and Ann Doggett, and five grandchildren, Robert E. Bunch, III Trey, Anna Marie Bentley, Ella Bentley, Taylor Mims and Travis Mims. Visitation will be held on , May 23 2015 at Christ United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time of 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn , Celeste Rd., Saraland, AL. Serving as pallbearers will be Devon Jones, Ernest Sikes, Hollis Davis, Spencer Adams, Greg Green, Ralph Green, Jr. and honorary pallbearers, Richard Twilley, John Holland and Jim Crocker. Obituary: The Memorial Service for Deborah Williams Bumpus, age 60 of Athens, AL; will be , May 30, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at McConnell Memorial Chapel with Doug Colwell officiating. Visitation will be , May 30, 2015 from 1-2 P.M. at McConnell . Ms. Bumpus passed away May 27, 2015 at Athens Limestone Hospital. She was born 21, 1955 in Pontiac, Michigan to Lowell Ray Williams, and Cassie Serhan Williams, She lived in Pontiac until 1960, then moved to Hamilton, Alabama. In 1968 she moved to Athens, AL. She went to school at Piney Chapel and Athens High, and graduated in 1973. She worked for TVA in security and at Athens Limestone Hospital in housekeeping and supplies, and prior to working at the hospital she worked at B & S grocery as a cashier. She was a loving mother who will be missed dearly, but will never be forgotten. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her two daughters Terri Schrimsher and husband Matthew, and Tiffany Bumpus, one sister, Alexandra Barnett and husband Carl, one brother, Brion Williams and Wife Sandra, one grandchild, William Chandler Johnson, two nephews, Benjamin Barnett and wife Shannon, Jeremy Williams and wife Stephanie, two great nieces, Avery and Grayson Barnett, and one great nephew, Sonny Williams. |

Obituary: Robert C. “Bob” Bumpers, Jr., 70, of Jackson, passed away May 28, 2017 at his residence. He was born 15, 1946 to Robert Bumpers, Sr. and Keeble Bumpers. A teacher at Jackson High School, he served the school in many capacities, including coaching with the football team and softball team and was member of Aggie Nation. He was also active in the community, serving on the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department and was a member the Clarke Representatives Committee and National Wild Turkey Federation (NWTF). An active member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson, he was a longtime School teacher and deacon. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Bumpers; daughter, Candace Bumpers and numerous other relatives and friends. services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on , May 31, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Jackson with Dr. Ben Stubblefield officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church in the Winn community with Lathan directing. Pallbearers will be Daron Bolen, Harold Everhart, Joe Etheridge, Danny Hayes, Danny Powell, Eddie Brundage and John Brown. Honorary pallbearers include members of the Jackson Volunteer Fire Department, Jackson High School Faculty, the Aggie team, his School class and Bubba Butts.
