Obituary: Beverage, Gail Baughan, 67, of Richmond, passed away , 8, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Margaret and Howard Baughn, and by her husband, William Boyd Beverage. She is survived by her son, William Boyd Beverage, Jr. (Bill), and her daughter, Rebecca (Griffin) Mattauch and her husband Thomas; grandchildren Sara and Hunter Griffin; sisters Diane Deal, Lynn Nigro, and Kay Fitzgerald; sister-in-law Elizabeth Baird and her husband Bruce; and loving nieces and nephews. In her professional career with Copy Cat she rose from an entry level position to become a supervisor and senior trouble shooter and trainer in the company before her retirement. Gail was an avid reader who loved people, and especially her grandchildren. She was mother to two dachshunds, Pepper and Buddy, who were forever by her side. Gail will be remembered for her support, smile and kindness always and her reminder to us, it is what it is. Gails family will receive visitors at Woody home, Parham Rd, on , 11, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00. Services will be at the home at 11:00 AM on , 12, with interment at Westhampton Memorial Park following. |

Obituary: Betty Etta (Young) Beverage, 79, of Stuarts Draft passed away , 27, 2014 at a . Born 27, 1935 in Durbin, WV; she was the daughter of the late Eldridge and Medie (Barkley) Young. On 12, 1954 she married her loving husband of 60 years Charles Ward Beverage, Sr. Betty was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Stuarts Draft. She owned her own beauty shop and worked for over 30 years as a hairdresser. Her family said one of the many life lessons they learned from her was the spirit of generosity. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, always living with a giving heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant sister, Mary Lou Young. Survivors include her two loving children, Charlie Beverage, Jr. and wife, Angie of Waynesboro and Diana (Beverage) Hewitt and husband, Patrick William of Warrenton, VA; grandchildren, Chris Beverage, Michelle Hewitt, Tiffany Brenneman and husband, David, Chelsea Beverage and Stephanie Beverage; great-grandchildren, Jessalyn and Gabriella Brenneman. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on , 31, 2014 at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick s with Pastor Doug Paysour officiating. Burial will be private. Obituary: BEVAN, Doris Large, 88, passed away 19, 2016 in N. Chesterfield, Va. She was the daughter of Julius Dewey Large, Sr. and Mary Pinter Large. Doris was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Norman William Bill Bevan; two brothers, Julius D. Large, Jr. and Paul M. Large; two sisters, Elizabeth Lawrence and Harriet Large. Doris is survived by her daughter, Deborah Bevan, Port Charlotte, Fla. and her heart daughter, Carol Levine also of Port Charlotte; three brothers, Wilfred P. (Carole) Large of Virginia Beach, Va. her twin Donald E. (Betty Jane) Large of Chesapeake, Va., and Alfred T. Large of Virginia Beach, Va. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
