Obituary: Teresa Terri Kay Buss, 59, of Burnet, Texas, died 7, 2011. She was born 9, 1951 in Yuma, Colorado to Jake Thompson and Mildred (Armstrong) Thompson. Terri was a homemaker and a very dedicated volunteer to CASA for the Highland Lakes. Terri is survived by her husband, Don Buss of Burnet, Texas; mother Mildred Plum and husband Pete of Otis, Colorado, brothers Danny Thompson and wife Denise, and Dennis Thompson and wife Lee, both of Colorado, sisters Laura Basler & husband Dan of Colorado and Jo Richardson and husband Jerry of Clio, Iowa; step-son Donnie Buss of Hempstead, Texas; step-daughter Sgt. Kristi Tucker & husband Sgt. John Tucker of Hempstead, Texas; adopted children Spc. Lian Fleming and husband Sgt. Nathan Fleming and Tara Hanks and grandson Kristipher Lillegard. She is also survived by other relatives and friends. she was preceded in death by her father Jake. Obituary: Randy Buss entered into rest 8, 2010 in San Antonio at the age of 63. He was born 20, 1946 in Mount Clemens, Michigan to the late Hubert & Evelyn (Kelly) Buss. He was a veteran of the US Navy with 3 tours of duty in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a Quartermaster 2nd Class. He proudly served on the USS Mispillion and was decorated with many citations, awards, and medals to include the Navy Achievement Medal. He retired from USAA after over 30 years of dedicated service. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his brother Wallace David Buss and son James Wallace Buss.Survivors include his loving wife of six years, Patricia Borrer; daughter Jennifer Buss; and a host of other relatives and friends. Obituary: Elvira E. Buss, age 95, passed away , 5, 2015. She was born 5, 1920 in Shiner to the late Emil F. and Theresa Heinzel Bonorden, the oldest of four childen. Elvira attended St. Ludmilla Academy and Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Shiner. She married Paulie C. Buss on 26, 1942 in Shiner. had one daughter, Eileen L. Buss Moreau. A longtime resident of Victoria, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and a faithful member of St. Marys Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, US Army Sergeant Paulie C. Buss of the 141 Infantry, 36 Infantry Division, who was killed in Italy on 16, 1943; her brother, Emil L. Bonorden; her sisters, Irene M. Vahalik and Regina M. Bianchi. She is survived by her daughter, Eileen Moreau and son-in-law, Willliam J. Moreau; three grandchildren, Dawn (Tommy) Upchurch, David (Amy) Moreau and Tracy (Chris) Orsak; seven great-grandchildren, Sarah, Brian and Michael Upchurch, Gracie and Reece Moreau, Mitchell and Casey Orsak and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited at 9:20 am on , 10, 2015 at St. Marys Catholic Church followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am with Father Dominic Antwi-Boasiako officiating. Burial will follow at Breslau in Breslau, Texas. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Tommy Upchurch and David Moreau, great-grandsons, Mitchell Orsak, Casey Orsak and Brian Upchurch, Michael Upchurch, and nephew, Dennis Vahalik. Obituary: a long battle with cancer, on the evening of 21, 2017, Anita Jayne Buskuhl passed away peacefully at home in the presence of family. Jayne was born in Enid, Oklahoma 21, 1942 to Edna and Leo Bellmon. She was raised in Billings, Oklahoma, then attended Oklahoma State University where she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega. She married Joe Buskuhl in 1962. She was very supportive of Joe as he finished college and three years in the military. When they moved to Dallas and started a family, Jayne was involved in many activities including president of the elementary school PTA. She continued to be an inspirational partner in Joes career. She also hosted many employee events in their home. She always enjoyed planning and hosting parties. In addition to supporting her family, Jayne was an influential member and held leadership roles of many organizations. A few were Architect Wives Club, SMU Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega House Corp, Dallas Southern Memorial, and Craig Class. She was a Friend of the Dallas Arboretum for many years, and she and Joe were charter members of Couples Book Club along with her being a member of Pathway Book Club, whose members were a source of support over the last several years. Jayne and Joe were members of Northway Christian Church, which has been a wonderful support network. All of these organizations members supported her during her battle with cancer. It was family that she cherished most. She had a daughter, son and five grandchildren who she adored. She also delighted in having relatives and friends join in on any occasion. She would preside over any size gathering, large or small, and loved every minute that they were together. Jayne was preceded in death by her parents Leo and Edna Bellmon and sister Charlotte Pitts and brother in law John Pitts. She is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Jill Buskuhl Cravens and her children Caroline, Clark, and Ben; her son Mark Buskuhl and his wife Monica and their children Kyla and Graham; her brother Hugh Bellmon and his wife DonAne. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. There will be a memorial service on , 27 at 1pm at Northway Christian Church. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Dallas Arboretum or Alpha Chi Omega Foundation. |
