Obituary: Dr. Julius Joseph Burianek (known to all as Dr. B) passed away at his home , 31st with his wife of 46 years and two daughters by his side. Dr. B attended Robert E Lee High School in 1948 and went on to graduate from Texas A&M University with his Bachelors degree of Science on May 27, 1952 and the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston with an M.D. on 3, 1955. He interned at St. Joseph Hospital in Fort Worth and earned a diploma on 30, 1956 before entering the United States Air Force where he served as Captain in Chateau Roux, France at the 7373 USAF Hospital and Honorably Discharged on 27, 1972. Dr. B obtained a Pediatric residency from 1959-1961at Baylor in Houston and served as chief resident at Texas Childrens Hospital. He began a pediatric practice at Gulf Coast Hospital in Baytown, Texas in 1962 and practiced for the next 38 years as one of the most respected and loved Pediatricians in town. In 1969, Dr. B married Sylvia Stegemueller and had two beautiful daughters, Jennifer and Alicia. Dr. B was an active member of St. Joseph Catholic Church as well as many professional organizations. He was a member of the Fellow of American Academy of Pediatrics in 1988, Texas Pediatric Society, Texas Medical Associate Delegate for 25 years, President of the East Harris Co. Branch Medical Society in 1975 and President of The Gulf Coast Hospital Medical Staff in 1982. Dr. B was a charter member and past president of the East Harris Serra Club. Dr. B is preceded in death by his mother, Julia Burianek, father, John Burianek, and sister, Irene Krull. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Burianek, daughters Jennifer Burianek and Alicia Copenhaver and son-in-law Bill Copenhaver, his brother, John R. Burianek, two grandchildren, Logan and Kassandra Copenhaver and many nieces and nephews. Dr. B was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed. Visitation will be held on , 3 at Earthman home on Garth Road from 5 - 7 pm. A Rosary will follow. services will be held at 10am on , 4 at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Carolina Street in Baytown, TX. Burial will be at White in Highlands, TX. Pall Bearers are Dr. Frank Krull, Mark Malchar, Joseph Malchar, Bill Stegemueller, Dennis Mahlman, and Doug Schoppe. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Church Capital Campaign. |

Obituary: Patrick Micheal Burgos, 42, of Arlington, TX, passed away on , 8, 2013. Services will be held on , 13 at 6 PM at Moore . Visitation will be fron 4-6pm prior to the funeral. Mike was born on Sept 20, 1970, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in the Army, then later worked as an overseas contractor deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan. When Mike passed away he was working as a 6th grade Social Studies teacher at Sellers Middle School in Garland, TX. Mike loved spending time with his family and his greatest achievement, pride and joy was his daughter- Priscilla Burgos-Marshall. Recently Mike was able to meet his one and only grandson, Jacoby Marshall and his son-in-law, Curtis Marshall. He enjoyed watching sports and his favorite teams are Philadelphia Eagles and the Phillies. He had an avid love for History.
