Glenn knew what he wanted from life and never hesitated in going after it. He could be characterized as a driven individual, someone who understood the importance of achievement. Glenn was decisive and outspoken at times, but he was very loyal to those he loved. He was a leader, both intentionally and sometimes by default. If he saw that something needed to be done, he was always ready to step up and actualize, organize, and implement a plan. He married his true love, Mickey C. Wofford, on 14, 1972. He was a faithful, hard worker for Cordova Construction specializing in heavy equipment operations and worked himself up to Construction Foreman until his disability. He was a good provider for his family and loved being generous to his family and friends. He had a knack for building random mechanical improvements to bless his family and make his life easier. He is probably most famous for creating a way for driving a lawn mower and attaching two push lawn mowers behind to improve the ratio of time to complete a lawn mowing session. He was creative and loved outdoors, almost as a second home for him. He loved nature and it loved him back. Struggling animals would seek him out. He is responsible for helping stray cats, dogs, and deer find a better life. When Glenn had free time, he loved sitting in the back yard watching over his pond, ducks, geese, and chickens. He was at peace there and so was his family. Glenn also loved western movies and his hero was John Wayne. He was a strong believer and was confident that Heaven would be his home, and he lived his life to honor Jesus. His motto was, help others and share Jesus. He did that. He was affectionately known as JoJo to his family. To help honor his life and his love for animals his family asks to bring pet supplies (food, litter, toys, etc.) for the caring of the animals that are less fortunate to his service. There will be a basket to receive your offerings to be shared with the Humane Society and the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter, or you may make a contribution to the following: Nacogdoches Animal Shelter and Humane Society, PO Box 631244, Nacogdoches, Texas 75963.
