Obituary: Dwayne Paul Boudreaux, 51, of Baytown, TX passed on to be with his Lord on , 18th, 2015 after a long battle with cancer. It should be said that Dwayne gave all he had to remain with his family. He fought like a warrior but sadly lost the battle for his life. Dwayne was born May 27, 1964 in Rayne, Louisiana to Mildred and Paul Boudreaux. He grew up in Highlands, TX with his wonderful mother, Mildred and stepfather, Lloyd (Cat) Spell. He was the youngest son of six children. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, sister, Debbie Cole and brother, Glenn Gould. He leaves behind his adring wife, Rebecca Koonce Boudreaux, his 9 year old daughter, Madelyn Gayle Boudreaux, step-son Geremy Babineaux, mother, Mildred Junot Spell and mother-in-law, caregiver, and daily companion, Gayle Purvis Koonce, brother Kenneth Boudreaux and wife Lisa, brother Ronnie Boudreaux and wife Teresa, and sister Cindy Boudreaux Cooper, sister-in-law Dena Koonce Seligman and husband Charlie, sister-in-law Belinda Koonce Boggess and numerous nieces and nephews. His marriage to his loving wife Rebecca and the birth of their daughter, Madelyn (Maddie) were the highlights of his life. He and Rebecca were true soulmates. were both musicians and enjoyed a shared talent and love of singing. Dwayne played several instruments throughout his lifetime finally settling on guitar. Dwayne was a lefty but had the unique ability to play a right-strung guitar. He loved all music, especially Cajun music and he loved to dance. Growing up in Highlands, Texas, Dwayne graduated from Ross S. Sterling in 1982 and won first place in State Small Engine Repair. He loved to work and had many interests including fishing on the canals of the local reservoir. Dwayne shared this love of fishing with his daughter Maddie and recently enjoyed a trip to Galveston where he saw Maddie catch her first fish. He was an excellent cook and loved preparing authentic Cajun dishes from recipes he learned from his mother Mildred. He enjoyed nature and appreciated the beauty of Texas & Louisiana. Dwayne also loved to ride his Harley and took to the roads at every opportunity. He looked forward to trips to Austin and the chance to ride with brother-in-law Charlie through the Texas Hill Country. Dwayne was a good man with a huge heart. He fiercely loved his family and friends and was known by all as a hard worker and a man who was always willing to give to others. He was always ready to help with projects, in the kitchen, pitch in around the house often doing the unexpected for his family and those he loved. He was generous to a fault, offering his time, talent or whatever he had without expecting anything in return. We are blessed and grateful for the life of Dwayne Boudreaux and the time we had with him. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Dwayne was a member of Celebration of Life church in Baytown. He loved the Lord with all his heart & soul. He looked forward to praise and worship and was known to dance & play air guitar as the spirit moved him. He loved and appreciated his church family, especially pastors Todd & Cyndy Mooring and Callie Hargraves who were incredibly supportive throughout his illness. Obituary: Dorothy Herrin Boudreaux, 83, of Port Arthur, stepped into heaven on , May 24, 2014. She was born on 13, 1930 in Chandler, Texas to Maurice and Dolly Herrin. She moved to Orange, TX. at 12 years old. Dorothy graduated Orange Stark High School and was a member of their Bengal Guards Drum & Bugle Corps. She married Lester Boudreaux and moved to Port Arthur in 1950. raising her two children, she worked as secretary for the International Union of Bricklayers in Nederland. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for many years and loved teaching the 3 year old Children's School. moving to Groves she loved to worship at First Baptist Church of Groves. Dorothy made many long lasting friendships while square dancing with the Swinging Squares Dancing Club. Yes, Dorothy did "Waltz Across Texas" with her sweetheart husband, L. C. Her greatest joy was hosting our frequent large family gatherings, offering plenty love, hospitality and serving her delicious Cajun food. She is survived by her loving husband, Lester L.C. Boudreaux, daughter Janis Terrell and husband Don of Groves, son Mark Boudreaux and wife Susan of Sulphur, LA; grandchildren Delanea Tallent and husband Richard, Stacy and husband Jared, Joni Copty and husband Paul, Megan Shaver and husband Brandon, Jared Boudreaux, and Beau Terrell; nine great grandchildren and her sister Linda Nabours. Obituary: Graveside services and inurnment for MSG (Ret) Carlton Martin Boudreaux, Jr, 74, of Killeen, will be at 10:00 a.m., on 10, 2017 at Central Texas State Veterans with Pastor Jeff Miller officiating. Mr. Boudreaux died peacefully at home on 2, 2017. He fought a courageous battle against the ravages of diseases caused by Agent Orange. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to Carlton M, and Viola (Hancock) Boudreaux on 28, 1942. Carlton graduated from Port Neches-Groves High School in 1960. He joined the Army in 1960 and proudly served over 22 years. He was a Vietnam veteran. For the next 30 years he worked on Fort Hood. Carlton was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carla(Boudreaux) Moul, and daughter, Malia (Boudreaux) Scott. Carlton loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Sue; sons, Carlton III,(Misty) of Chattanooga, TN, and Jeremy of Killeen, TX and daughter, Brandy( James)Boudreaux-Ricciardi of Mesa, AZ. The apples of his eye were grandsons: C.J. Boudreaux of Chattanooga, TN, Foster and Beau Ricciardi of Mesa, AZ.
