Obituary: One of the personalities of the Texas Panhandle passed away 3, 2016. Terry Carl Bomar was born 19, 1953 and with a full knowledge of His Lord and Saviour moved to the proverbial other side this past . Terry was the consumate cowboy and would want to be remembered as such. He secondly would want to be remembered as a genuine friend to everyone with whom he ever had contact. Terry had no enemies, only friends from every stage of life. Terry was not a member of the Lions Club or The Rotary Club, he was chairman of the Im here for you club. From elementary school to his last day in life, Terry made lasting bonds with people. He was a person whom each and every acquaintance knew they could count on when the proverbial chips might be down. Very few people built the bonds and relationships with others that Terry Bomar built. Briscoe Texas suffered a loss when Terry Bomar passed away and there is no replacement for his humor, wit, and love of people. We aren making cowboys anymore and we have lost another one. His legacy will remain in Briscoe and through his daughter and grandson. Silverton Texas will not soon forget Terry, and the multitude of friends he made will never forget him. You have blessed us Terry Bomar, and well see you on he other side. Terry is survived by his wife Janet, daughter Molly, and sister Roy Ann. He has one grandson, Charles Harrison (Harry) Roberts. Janets daughters Heather Maroney and Angela Howard loved him dearly, their children Molly, Jed, Josey, and Dalton did as well, and a host of cousins thought the world of Cousin Terry. Terry was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Dorothy Bomar and his two sons, Wil T., and Charles Emory (Charlie), both of whom Terry adored to his last day. |
