Obituary: Jerry Lee Bolen, 67, of Yoakum passed away , 17, 2011. He was born 12, 1944, in San Angelo to the late Leonard L.J. and Ottilia Pehl Bolen. Jerry was employed in the oil and gas industry. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Halfmann Bolen of Yoakum; daughter, Caryn Motal of Phoenix, Arizona; sons, Jason Bolen of Houston and Daryl Bolen of Katy; sisters, Mary Lou Linceum of Bentonville, Arkansas, Joy Hoelscher of San Angelo, Jo Hoelscher Lucas of Uvalde and Kathy Reavis of Ozona; brother, Andrew Bolen of Garcia, Colorado; grandchildren, Daniel Bolen, Dalton Bolen and Morgan Motal.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jeaneen Bolen, and a son, Randy Bolen.

Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 pm , 19, 2011, at Rosewood Chapel.

A Rosary will be recited at 1:15 pm , 20, 2011, at Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will follow at 2:00 p.m., Rev. George Henninger officiating.

Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. , 21, 2011, at the Vance in Camp Wood, Texas.

Obituary: Eleanor Bolen, 81, of San Angelo, passed away on , 1, 2010, at her residence.
Eleanor was born May 6, 1929, in Jerome, Arizona, to Edwin Gillespie and Marguerite Walker Gillespie. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1946. She graduated from Harris of at TCU in 1949, with a degree in nursing. On 6, 1950, she married John Grant Bolen. soon moved to Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1953, where she became a homemaker and mother to Jane and Nancy. The family moved back to Fort Worth, for a short time, and then to San Angelo, where John Richard was born in 1958. Jack and Eleanor lived in San Angelo for the past 54 years. Eleanor was a founding member of the Concho Valley for Girls, and dedicated much of her time to this worthy cause. She was an avid golfer and member of the WGA at San Angelo Country Club, until her declining health prevented her from playing. She also had many friends who played at Riverside Golf Course.
Eleanor was a member of the Town and Country Club, in its prime, where she and her friends enjoyed many Halloween parties. She and Jack also loved to host their traditional New Years Eve parties in their home. Another hobby she loved was collecting and refurbishing antiques. Her many antiques were on display in her home at 415 S. Jefferson. Jack and Eleanor were long time members of St. Luke Methodist Church.
Eleanor had a style all her own. She was famous for roaring around town in her classy corvettes. Whatever the model, 1972, 1984, or 1999, no one could have missed her. Her love for her Irish Wolfhounds rivaled none. She and her gentle giants were the talk of the neighborhood. She and Jack did extensive traveling. Yet, of all their trips, New Zealand was her very favorite.
Jack and Eleanors home away from home was their beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains of Cloudcroft, New Mexico. loved to picnic, play golf, and entertain friends. Many wonderful memories were made during those times in their lives.
Eleanor was a kind and giving lady with an incredible sharp wit. No one was a stranger in her home. She was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. To put it simply, she lived life to the fullest. Her grandchildren , who affectionately called her Gran, were the light of her life.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Gillespie and son, John Richard Bolen.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 60 years, Jack Bolen; daughters Jane Bolen , and Nancy Bolen Heartsill and husband Joe; grandchildren; Jennifer , Zach and wife Adrienne; Lucas Heartsill and wife Colleen, Kate Heartsill, Rhett Heartsill, Derek Bolen, Hunter Bolen, and Grant Bolen; great grandchildren Shannon Duarte, Elizabeth Heartsill, and Lula Jane due in .
Service for Eleanor will be , 11:00 AM, at Johnsons Chapel, officiated by special friend, Monsignor Maury Voity. A meal will follow in the fellowship hall of First Christian Church, 29 North Oaks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Concho Valley for Girls or Meals for the Elderly.

On , 10th, 2014, Chanel Renee Bolen, age 25, went to heaven to be with her LORD and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born in Denison, Texas on 19th, 1988, to parents Joe Lee and Denise Elizabeth Lee Bolen. Chanel graduated from Denison High School in 2006 with honors. She also graduated from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in of 2013 with a degree in Bachelors of Science in and Physical Education. Chanel was employed at North Texas Childrens Dentistry in Gainesville, Texas and Logans Roadhouse Restaurant of Sherman, Texas. She completed her student teaching requirements at Pottsboro Elementary School.

She is survived by: her parents, her sister Tiffany Diane Bolen and partner Jimi Drosche, her brothers Mark Sergey Bolen and Timothy Alexander Bolen, and sisters Jessica Lee Bolen and Mary Elizabeth Bolen. Chanels grandparents are Bobby Ray Bolen and Mary Ann Nichols, uncle Barry Dale Bolen and Sherry Kelton, aunt Karen Loretta Boddy and husband Todd Boddy of Princeton, Texas, uncle Gregory Darrell Hendrix and wife Nancy Hendrix of Omaha, Nebraska, nephews Jordan Marsoux Marrow and Jager Bates Drosche, and neice Jameson Cate Drosche. Proceeded in death by grandparents Edgar Lee and Mildred Carlene Hendrix, grandparent Mary Jo Bolen, and niece Hudsyn Dee Drosche.

Chanels life is being celebrated with two memorial services: , 14th, 2014, at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 North Lillis Lane, Denison, at 10:30 A.M., and on , 15th, 2014, at Waterloo Lake in Denison at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers her family has requested donations be made to the Music Ministry at Parkside Baptist Church in her memory. The life of our daughter Chanel has and will continue to reach out to change and save the lives of many people.

She brings great joy and laughter with her beautiful smile. She has a servants heart and a wonderful love to teach the lambs for His glory. Thank you to all who invested in her life making her into the beautiful woman she has become. May her life be a pleasing, fragrant offering to the LORD.

Obituary: Tom Bole, of San Antonio, Texas went to be with his Lord on 26, 2011 at VITAS Hospice after a long battle against COPD. Born 22, 1934 in Sharon, PA., Tom enjoyed playing sports at Sharon H.S. He excelled in football, basketball and baseball. He joined the USAF in 1952 with basic training at Sampon AFB in Geneva, New York. He went through police training in Savanna, GA and was then assigned to such places as Rapid City, ND; Norton AFB, CA; Korea in 1953; Grand Prairie, TX; Everude France; Bolling Field, DC; Woodbridge England and then to RAFB in San Antonio, TX in 1963. He spent 1965-66 in Vietnam before returning to San Antonio as a Security Police Instructor at Lackland AFB and then Randolph AFB. He was sent to Eielson AFB in Alaska where he retired in 1976. Tom worked on the Alaska Pipeline for a year before returning to San Antonio, where he attended Southwest Texas State University in 1981 earning a degree in Vocational Education. He taught law enforcement at Madison High School until 1986, and then worked at the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1996. He spent ten years substitute teaching at Madison HS until 2006. Tom always loved working with young people and he enjoyed coaching Pop Warner Football from 1968-1973 and again in 1977. He also coached baseball and basketball in RAFB youth programs. During his retirement years Tom enjoyed playing golf with wife Bonnie and made a hole-in-one at RAFB golf course in 2002. He and Bonnie were active members of the Heart of Texas Greyhound Adoption group, making many close friendships within the group, and loved spending time with their adopted greyhounds. Tom often said that his beloved greyhounds kept him going in his later years. He and Bonnie, born again Christians, are members of Community Bible Church. Tom is preceded in death by parents, John Bole and Claire Bole Stauffer, and grandson Matthew Bole. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Bonnie; sons Thomas, Christopher, Mark, Terry, and Daniel Bole, Kevin and Darren Stelter; grandchildren Richard, Kiel, Laegan, Douglas, Christopher, John, Steven, Shane, Jade Katie, Daniel, and Sam Bole, Amanda and Dillon Stelter; great-grandchildren Brandon and William; brother Charles Bole, his wife Barbara and their children Charles and Bonnie, step-brother Kenneth Bole and wife Dahline and their daughter Lindsay, and step mother Dorothy Bole. Tom will be remembered as a generous, loving man who always enjoyed being around young people and children. CHICO -- Nina Valentinovna Boldyreff passed away in Chico, Texas at the age of 85. Panikhida (Memorial) Service will be at 6 p.m. at Shannon Rose Hill Chapel.
Service: Will be held at 11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 303 Cullum Dr. Euless, 76040.
Nina was born in Paris, France, and studied at the University of Bridgeport, graduating Summa Cum Laude in French literature with a minor in Russian. She also earned a Masters degree in Romance Languages. At the age of 19, Nina passed language proficiency exams in French, Russian, German, and English and at 20, was employed by the U.S. Army translating in all four languages. She was a translator for General Dwight D. Eisenhower, whom she described as very humble, kind and a true gentleman. She also translated for classified information and later worked helping with grave records for US soldiers. Nina immigrated to New York on Presidents Day in 1951 and became a naturalized United States Citizen. She was very proud to be an American. She went on to be a bilingual executive secretary in New York City, for several businesses such as McNally and Olin Industries. She was an international flight attendant for TWA for several years and a language teacher in the Fairfield Connecticut School system for 15 years. She then went to work for the US Department of State, for 10 years, as a travelling escort interpreter for delegations coming to the US for various professional interests such as agricultural, medical, and cultural. She completed her work experience as a court interpreter for the court system of New York City. Nina was a member of the American Legion, and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.. She was a member of St. Barbaras Orthodox Church in Fort Worth, Texas.
