Obituary: BOJESCUL Miyuki Shiraza Bojescul age 76 our beloved mother entered peacefully into eternal rest on May 29, 2010 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. She was born 25, 1933 in Hamamasu, Hokkaido, Japan. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fukumatsu and Miki Kobayashi Shiraza, her husband Adrian Bojescul; son-in-law, Timothy Simmons; grandson, Michael Bojescul; as well as a sister and brother. Studying English at a library in Hokkaido, Japan she met our father Adrian Bojescul, while he was on active duty with the United States Army. married approximately one year later in 1955 and moved to the United States in 1956. She later became a naturalized US Citizen. She was a courageous woman, mother and role model with an indomitable spirit for life and family. She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and laughed often and she will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sister, Miyo Masuko of Sapporro, Japan; her children, Mary and husband Greg Jerrell of McLean Virginia, Mathilda and husband Jeff Ortiz of Castroville, Texas, Margaret and husband Ray Clinger of Navarre, Florida and John Bojescul of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Nathan and Alyssa Jerrell, Kristi and husband Eric Silva, Brian Simmons, Carrie and husband Jeff Komives, Kyle and Cameron Clinger; great-grandchildren, Isaac and Isaiah Silva and Connor Woller; brother-in-law, Sylvius and wife Hilda Bojescul; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Alex Brown and the entire medical staff at the Hematology/Oncology ward as well as the Apheresis Team at Wilford Hall Medical for their exceptional care and compassion during our mothers medical treatments. Obituary: Adrian Bojescul age 73, our beloved father, entered peacefully into eternal rest on 24, 2003, after a courageous and lenghty battle with diabetes and congestive heart failure. He was born on 12, 1930 in Mamaesti, Romania. At the age of 20 he immigrated to the United States from Germany. In 1952 he joined the US Army. While serving he became a naturalized citizen of the United States. His first tour of duty was in support of the Korean Conflict. He was then assigned to Hokkaido, Japan where he met and later married our mother. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and was awarded the Bronze Star twice. His duties allowed for travels throughout the world, finally settling in San Antonio, Texas in 1970. retirement from the Army he attended school and earned an associates degree. He later worked as a security guard for the City Public Service Utilities. He lived his retirement years enjoying his family. He traveled extensively throughout the country to spend time with his grandchildren with whom he shared his hobbies of fishing, stamp and coin collecting. He lived a lifetime of steady dedicaiton of honor and patriotism. He was a great American. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mathilda Laufersweiler Bojescul, a grandson Michael Bojescul Simmons, and son-in-law Timothy Simmons. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Miyuki Shiraza Bojescul; three daughters, Mary Jerrell and husband Gregory of Fayetteville, NC., Mathilda Simmons of Castroville, TX, and Margaret Clinger and husband Raymond of Navarre, FL; a son John Bojescul of San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Tyler, Nathan, And Alyssa Jerrell, Krisit and Brian Simmons, Carrie, Kyle, and Cameron Clinger; a sister, Mary Kreis; a brother, Silvius Bojescul and wife Hildegunde and numerous nieces and nephews. |

Obituary: Boyd Boitnott, 95, of San Angelo,passed away at his home, surrounded by loved ones on , 18, 2015. He was born to the late, "Dean" Daniel Webster and Etta Pendley Boitnott on , May 21, 1919 in Hepner, Oregon. He married, Barbara Ann Holmes on 17, 1962 in Houston. Boyd served in the United States Navy during World War II at the Corpus Christi Naval Air Station. He worked a number of years as an engineer in the oil industry. He attended the First Baptist Church, San Angelo. Boyd was a quiet and private man who contributed to the world as we know it in ways that most will never know. He enjoyed his time flying as a private pilot throughout the southwest and Canada. His heart was in geophysical realms. He had a beautiful mind, always working on inventions and patents. Boyd's independent spirit and sense of honor will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Frances Boitnott Holmes; and grandson, Michael Boitnott. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Barbara Boitnott; children and their spouses, Boyd and JoMyrl Boitnott, Kathy Goates, Carolyn and Timothy Blackmon, and Linda and Thomas Dickinson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
